Peace is a weapon, and it comes from rest. It comes from resting in Me, leaning on Me, being in absolute trust in Me — convinced and unshakeable trust that I Am who I say I Am, and I will do the things I said I will do. My nature, My ways and My Word are sure. They never change. The peace that passes all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. You don’t have to fear what is to come. You don’t have to be in dismay about bank accounts. Did I not feed Elijah by the ravens? I back up My servants. I stand behind and provide for those who boldly speak the truth to power. My love never fails. I don’t fail.

Trust Me to be your Source of joy, and war to keep your joy. The enemy is coming against mindsets right now. He’s coming against hope, plans and futures. He wants to cut your expectations off at the knees. War to keep your joy, and you will see your rightful, appointed end. The war over your heart and mind is real. Do not agree with despair. Do not partner with doubt (James 1). Partner with Me. Be entwined as one with Me. (John 15) And give the enemy no room. Do not be moved. Take every thought captive, and make it bow in obedience to Me.

This is persistent rest that sustains you. Just as My love sustains you and gives you purpose, just as My joy sustains you and gives you strength. So My rest will sustain you and give you longevity. You can go the distance, and you can travel much farther distances with much less effort when you enter into My rest.

Let your concern and worry be diminished and subside entirely in light of the overwhelming goodness of My Presence and the tangible reality of My grace. Stress and worry will bow to My perfect peace, will dissipate completely in the presence of My perfect peace that passes all understanding.
