“Comfort, comfort my people, says your God. Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and cry to her that her warfare is ended, that her iniquity is pardoned, that she has received from the Lord’s hand double for all her sins.”
Isaiah 40:1-2 ESV
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
I’m turning hearts toward home, toward truth, toward Me. I’m making people feel their unrighteousness, their sin, their waywardness and their failures — not to condemn but to make whole. Not to read the riot act over their lives but to speak kindly to them, to overwhelm them with My goodness, My mercy and My faith in them to be everything I have called and made them to be. I’m washing them afresh with purpose, with meaning, with identity, and I Am anointing them with a passion for the truth and for My Name that is hidden in their hearts.
My Word is hidden in their hearts and so is the stamp, the signature of the Creator. I’m drawing prodigals home. I’m drawing wayward ones back to My heart, back to My purpose, My intention, My design. Morality in their minds will not be fluid any longer. It will be static, fixed. They will return to what is written.
“For the Lord has ransomed Jacob and has redeemed him from hands too strong for him. They shall come and sing aloud on the height of Zion, and they shall be radiant over the goodness of the Lord, over the grain, the wine, and the oil, and over the young of the flock and the herd; their life shall be like a watered garden, and they shall languish no more.”
Jeremiah 31:11-12 ESV
Harmful wolves have crept into My flock and have maimed, stolen, dismembered and even tried and succeeded in transforming some of My sweet sheep into wolves like themselves. I Am unmasking these wolves in the sheep pen. And I Am restoring the hearts, the lives and the minds of My wandering sheep, of My displaced sheep, of My sheep who have taken it upon themselves to run away from My love and My heart, My will and My purposes. I Am reestablishing the boundary line for My sheep, and the wayward ones will regain entry, will be brought in by My hand. Many will come back drawn by My love. And the wolves will face defeat. The wolves will be cut off. They will be shunned from polite society, and they will face consequences of the law — both spiritual and natural.
“Go on up to a high mountain, O Zion, herald of good news; lift up your voice with strength, O Jerusalem, herald of good news; lift it up, fear not; say to the cities of Judah, “Behold your God!” Behold, the Lord God comes with might, and his arm rules for him; behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him. He will tend his flock like a shepherd; he will gather the lambs in his arms; he will carry them in his bosom, and gently lead those that are with young.”

Confrontations of the wolves are here. Receive the maimed, wandering, bludgeoned and lost sheep. Receive them all back into the fold. I’m sending them home. I’m drawing them home.
How to Respond
- Pray, Lord thank You for seeing the ones in my family and community who have left the protection and the love of Your sheepfold because of the lies of the enemy. Judge the enemy harshly for this Lord. He has deceived so many, and he has multiplied those in the ranks of the wolves — creating many teachers of lies and deceit. You judge them accordingly Lord and restore all whose hearts can be restored.
- Declare, “For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.”
Jeremiah 29:11-13 NASB1995 - Decree, The Lord is calling prodigals and wayward ones home. He is restoring clarity, identity and purpose in their lives and with that, He is restoring a love and respect for truth. He is unmasking and bringing confrontation to the wolves who have maimed, hurt and destroyed many lives through violence and deceit. And those wolves will face natural and spiritual judgment. This is a time of reestablishing boundary lines of protection in families and faith communities. The watchmen must be on their posts — praying and receiving the wayward ones back into the sheepfold.
