“Great sorrow awaits you religious scholars and Pharisees—frauds and imposters! You are nothing more than tombs painted over with white paint—tombs that look shining and beautiful on the outside but filled with rotting corpses on the inside. Outwardly you masquerade as righteous people, but inside your hearts you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.”

I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
An accumulation of time has come, and those who trust the church more than they trust My Name will find themselves outside. It’s not that they can’t enter. But they will recognize — I will make it clear to them that their posture and position is outside of Me, and the church won’t save them. Only My Name can. The church can assign busy work while offering no solutions. The church can heap costs and bring no relief. The true Church, My Church, My body will point them to Me. Be in that camp. Dead religion has no place in the days ahead.
“There is no one else who has the power to save us, for there is only one name to whom God has given authority by which we must experience salvation: the name of Jesus.”

Religion has nothing for the people to hold onto except empty rituals if My Name is not exalted above all, if the beginning and the end of every answer to every problem is not found in Me. Religion itself will be found to be an empty, powerless relic for those who have kept up the facade but removed My Name, for those who have kept the ritual but denied My power, for those who speak as if they are a voice for the poor, the broken and the downtrodden, but who themselves have no hope.
“They may pretend to have a respect for God, but in reality they want nothing to do with God’s power. Stay away from people like these!”
2 Timothy 3:5 TPT
A time of sifting and dividing has come to the church. Those with Me will shine brighter and brighter. They will be recognized by their joy and tenacity and known by their love for Me and for one another. Those who have a form of godliness but no power, those who deny the singular way back to the Father, which is through Christ alone — those will be seen and exposed as empty shells. May they yet repent. But so far, they have made their gods themselves. They have made their injury, their bitterness, their perverted worldview to be their guides and gods — instead of humbling themselves at the foot of the Cross and receiving the healing, refreshing, restoring and eternal life which is every heart’s true desire.

Those who spackle and wallpaper over evil instead of confronting it will be exposed. Those who sweep depravity and moral degradation under the rug will see that very rug pulled out from under them. This is a time where I Am dealing with My Church and those who traffic in My Name. This is not a time for those who call themselves My Church to be found outside of God Most High and certainly not in direct opposition to My Name, My Word, My character or My ways. The rumblings have started, and I will shake My Church now.
How to Respond
- Pray, Lord show me clearly where I stand in You. I don’t want to be found on the side of empty religion and outside of You. Call those who have wandered back to You. Expose the charlatans and the wolves in sheep’s clothing. Expose the evil. Bring a reckoning and bring swift, decisive justice for evils committed in Your Name and the name of the church or religion. And make clear to all that Christ Jesus alone is the way, the truth and the life. Purify Your Church Lord, so we can be a shining city on a hill for all who have not yet turned to You.
- Declare, “True spirituality that is pure in the eyes of our Father God is to make a difference in the lives of the orphans, and widows in their troubles, and to refuse to be corrupted by the world’s values.”
James (Jacob) 1:27 TPT - Decree, Holy is the Lord God Almighty, the Lord of Hosts and the Creator of Heaven and Earth. King Jesus is the only Name by which men can be saved. I trust Him because He died for me. He made every sacrifice imaginable to rescue me, and now I am redeemed. The Lord is coming to sift and shake the Church, and only what is true will remain.
