Today’s Reading:
Psalm 136
Psalm 139
Jeremiah 29
“He’s the God who chose us when we were nothing! His tender love for us continues on forever! He has rescued us from the power of our enemies! His tender love for us continues on forever!”
Psalms 136:23-24 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Peace personified. Like a river flow bringing mercy, forgiveness, joy, love and hope. Watch the river flow. Streams like runoff from the mountains are falling. Trust Me to take you deeper. Trust Me to take you higher. My ways will not fail. The marginalized will work again. Those who have been cut off from society, have been branded outcasts will move into position to thrive again. The anointing rests on you to create — create for hope, create for solutions that change things, create for purpose and in a way that brings great connection to people who otherwise would be dispersed.
‘You are so intimately aware of me, Lord. You read my heart like an open book and you know all the words I’m about to speak before I even start a sentence! You know every step I will take before my journey even begins. You’ve gone into my future to prepare the way, and in kindness you follow behind me to spare me from the harm of my past. You have laid your hand on me! This is just too wonderful, deep, and incomprehensible! Your understanding of me brings me wonder and strength. ‘
Psalms 139:3-6
To those who have been shunned and labeled I call you critical. I call you essential. I call you needed and necessary. I’m bringing the outcasts forward. I’m bringing the rogue ones, the targeted and marked ones forward, and they will not shrink back. Don’t shrink back in this time. Don’t shrink back if I bring you forward. It is for such a time as this. I made you for such a time as this. Treasures untold will come forth and are even now coming forth from within you — gems of righteousness, purity, understanding, wisdom and cause. I’ve made you different on purpose. Don’t try to look like anyone else or sound or behave as anyone else. I’m calling you to authority. You will stand on principle with the sound of a pure, clear trumpet blast, and order will follow wherever you go. The nature with which I created you causes you to put things to order, causes you to right ships, causes you to turn things around. The very reason you hate messes is the reason I put you in them. I made you to bring order to chaos.
“I thank you, God, for making me so mysteriously complex! Everything you do is marvelously breathtaking. It simply amazes me to think about it! How thoroughly you know me, Lord! You even formed every bone in my body when you created me in the secret place; carefully, skillfully you shaped me from nothing to something. You saw who you created me to be before I became me! Before I’d ever seen the light of day, the number of days you planned for me were already recorded in your book.”
Psalms 139:14-16 TPT
Peace and stability follow where you tread. Don’t bow to frustration. Recognize your authority and the gift I have put in you to make the crooked straight, to make the messes orderly and make sense. Yours is the gift of the turnaround. So don’t be surprised when I throw you into a mess. It’s to do your job, to move and operate in the very nature with which I created you. So just pursue My voice, and I will give you wisdom on how to proceed. Walk in bold confidence. I made you this way, and it’s time to put that skill to work again.
How to Respond
- Pray, Lord thank You for calling the shunned, marginalized, targeted and labeled ones forward. Thank You for seeing us and for speaking into the purpose for which You made us. Help me to be one who does not shrink back from my calling or from any assignment that You may send my way. Help me to rise up in the authority You have given me, and help me to operate powerfully and deliberately in the giftings You placed inside of me.
- Declare, “Here’s what Yahweh says to you: “I know all about the marvelous destiny I have in store for you, a future planned out in detail. My intention is not to harm you but to surround you with peace and prosperity and to give you a beautiful future, glistening with hope.”
Jeremiah 29:11 TPT - Decree, The Lord is calling the outcasts, the shunned, the labeled and the marginalized forward. He says that we are critical in this time. He is positioning us for good works which He planned for us in advance. I will not shrink back or be in dismay. I will not get into comparison mode. I will fully be the person He made me to be, and I will do the work He puts in front of me.
