Today’s Reading
Psalm 7
Psalm 20
Psalm 149
“In your day of danger may Yahweh answer and deliver you. May the name of the God of Jacob set you safely on high! May supernatural help be sent from his sanctuary. May he support you from Zion’s fortress! May he remember every gift you have given him and celebrate every sacrifice of love you have shown him. Pause in his presence”
Psalms 20:1-3 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
A trumpet is blaring in the distance. Troops are marching in formation, row after row in battle array. Trust the trumpet sound. The trumpet blast is blaring in the distance, but it can be clearly heard from where you are. The military is marching in formation, in might, in strength and in power. Yet the British have you surrounded on two sides. They have you outflanked on your rear and your right (east and north?). The trumpet is resounding and resounding in the distance. It sounds like blather sometimes. It sounds like a threat sometimes. It sounds like a beautiful song sometimes, and it resounds like a war cry sometimes. This is all to keep the enemy off-kilter. The trumpet can see clearly that we are still outflanked.
“Some find their strength in their weapons and wisdom, but my miracle-deliverance can never be won by men. Our boast is in Yahweh our God, who makes us strong and gives us victory! Our enemies will not prevail; they will only collapse and perish in defeat while we will rise up, full of courage. Give victory to our king, O Yahweh! The day we call on you, give us your answer!”
Psalms 20:7-9 TPT
As the trumpet resounds, pay attention. Pay attention. Guard your post. Stay in your place in formation. Though you have these British red coats outnumbered and out armed, though your power exceeds theirs, they have you outflanked on two sides. They are stuck to your hind side and your right side like barnacles and suction cups that will not be moved. The only answer is worship. Nothing confuses the enemy like worship. Nothing makes the enemy more shifty and uncomfortable than worship. So hit your knees, bow down in awe of the Lord your King and worship. As you do, you will see one by one these British overlords will defect. They will remove themselves from your hind and right flanks. They will be confused. They will have a sudden call to a new post. They will just leave due to extreme discomfort. But each one of them will remove themselves from your flanks without a shot needing to be fired.
‘Let true lovers break out in praise, sing out from wherever they’re sitting, Shout the high praises of God, brandish their swords in the wild sword-dance— A portent of vengeance on the God-defying nations, a signal that punishment’s coming,Their kings chained and hauled off to jail, their leaders behind bars for good, The judgment on them carried out to the letter —and all who love God in the seat of honor! Hallelujah!’
Psalms 149:5-9
So what does this mean? Worship is your most powerful, potent weapon. Praise is the key to remaining whole and unscathed in this time. Worship will give you full mobility and sovereignty of movement again. Worship will remove the occupying forces of darkness from your midst. Worship is key. Trust Me. As you look to Me, as you exalt Me, they will flee.
How to Respond
- Pray, Lord help me to know my place in the formation of Your direction right now. Help me to hear and understand the purposes behind the messages being conveyed by President Trump. Help me to stand with bold, confidence and total assurance that You are making a way where there seems to be no way. Thank You for the weapon of worship. Help me to wield it unceasingly.
- Declare, “I will give thanks to the Lord according to His righteousness And will sing praise to the name of the Lord Most High.”
— Psalms 7:17 NASB1995 - Decree, I will stand where the Lord calls me to stand. And I will not be moved by fear or dismay. I will trust Him completely, and I will bow down in worship. As I do, the enemies on our hind side and on our right side will leave their posts, one by one.
