Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 59
Isaiah 66
John 14
Acts 4
“He put on righteousness like a breastplate, And a helmet of salvation on His head; And He put on garments of vengeance for clothing And wrapped Himself with zeal as a mantle. According to their deeds, so He will repay, Wrath to His adversaries, recompense to His enemies; To the coastlands He will make recompense. So they will fear the name of the Lord from the west And His glory from the rising of the sun, For He will come like a rushing stream Which the wind of the Lord drives.”
Isaiah 59:17-19 NASB1995
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Marine formations. Some flying. Some driving. Some climbing. Others running. Many aboard ships — aircraft carriers — piloting drones, helicopters and turning the world upside down. Marine chaos. Subterfuge and chilling. A chilling effect is being put on the nations. The nations are being put on alert, and chaos and tumult seem to abound. But My peace will come in like a flood. It will even flood the waters.
“Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Can a land be born in one day? Can a nation be brought forth all at once? As soon as Zion travailed, she also brought forth her sons. Shall I bring to the point of birth and not give delivery?” says the Lord. “Or shall I who gives delivery shut the womb?” says your God. “Be joyful with Jerusalem and rejoice for her, all you who love her; Be exceedingly glad with her, all you who mourn over her, That you may nurse and be satisfied with her comforting breasts, That you may suck and be delighted with her bountiful bosom.” For thus says the Lord, “Behold, I extend peace to her like a river, And the glory of the nations like an overflowing stream; And you will be nursed, you will be carried on the hip and fondled on the knees. As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you; And you will be comforted in Jerusalem.””
Isaiah 66:8-13 NASB1995
My peace is beginning like a tsunami, way far offshore and gaining strength and speed as it moves in. Yet it will not crest high. It will remain low. It will remain under the radar so to speak. And it will seem to flood in and hit people ankle deep. Don’t you know My peace gives new assignments? These feet, once hit with My overwhelming peace are now impervious and bold. They are unmoved by the voices and opinions of men. And they will move into positions and postures and roles once unthinkable. When My peace passes all understanding, this is the biggest psyop the enemy can face. His tactics of psychological warfare no longer work in the face of My perfect peace. How can he move the immovable? How can he shake the unshakeable? My peace is flowing in like powerful but gentle tide that knows no bounds.
“I leave the gift of peace with you—my peace. Not the kind of fragile peace given by the world, but my perfect peace. Don’t yield to fear or be troubled in your hearts—instead, be courageous!”
— John 14:27 TPT
Don’t be surprised when your spine is stiffened. Don’t be surprised when your assignment changes or is redirected or made far bolder. My perfect peace will do that. It will unbind what is bound up in fear, and it will embolden and empower you to fight some more. Perhaps on a new front. Perhaps in a new way. Watch as My tide comes in. My deep abiding, perfect peace will change you in one day.
How to Respond
- Pray, Holy Spirit thank You that You are coming in like a rushing stream driven by the wind of the Lord. And You are manifesting as perfect peace as You do. Thank You for coming to strengthen, encourage and embolden Your people. I want to move where You say move and do what You say to do.
- Declare, “So now, Lord, listen to their threats to harm us. Empower us, as your servants, to speak the word of God freely and courageously. Stretch out your hand of power through us to heal, and to move in signs and wonders by the name of your holy Son, Jesus!”
— Acts 4:29-30 TPT - Declare, “Yahweh said to my Lord, the Messiah: “Sit with me as enthroned ruler while I subdue your every enemy. They will bow low before you as I make them a footstool for your feet.” Messiah, I know God himself will establish your kingdom as you reign in Zion-glory. For he says to you, “Rule in the midst of your enemies!” Your people will be your love offerings. In the day of your mighty power you will be exalted, and in the brightness of your holy ones you will shine as an army arising from the womb of the dawn, anointed with the dew of your youth! Yahweh has taken a solemn oath and will never back away from it, saying, “You are a priest for eternity, after the manner of Melchizedek!” The Lord stands in full authority to shatter to pieces the kings who stand against you on the day he displays his terrible wrath. He will judge every rebellious nation, filling their battlefields with corpses, and will shatter the strongholds of ruling powers. Yet he himself will drink from his inheritance as from a flowing brook; refreshed by love he will stand victorious!”
Psalms 110:1-7 TPT - Decree, The Lord is moving in a powerful way to bring His perfect peace to His people in the midst of fear, chaos, war and tumult. I will be strengthened and emboldened, and I will be found busy about my Father’s business. I will not look to the world that is shaking. I will look to my Father in Heaven for fresh instruction. His peace is bringing such confidence and boldness to His people that we are impervious to the tactics of the enemy.
