“Does the Scripture mean nothing to you that says, “The Spirit that God breathed into our hearts is a jealous Lover who intensely desires to have more and more of us”? But he continues to pour out more and more grace upon us. For it says, “God resists you when you are proud but continually pours out grace when you are humble.””

I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
True change is on its way. True change is afoot. Grace is here for the humble, but the proud will stumble continually along the path in this new place. Humility is the way forward. The only way to make it forward is not by standing tall and walking forward as usual — it is by the low way. Crawling on your belly-low is the only way to advance safely and successfully in this new time of change. Change will be all around you — dazzling, sparkling, outrageous blessings of change. If you stay standing, you will have a vantage point that brings pride and gives too great a perspective to all that I have done. What you need to succeed in this time of rapid, remarkable, wonderworking change is to be so low, that you can barely perceive all of these wonderful things. You know them…but you can’t take them all in at once. That is the key to not letting pride enter your heart. Put your belly on the ground. Pride will have no place to enter.
“When you abide under the shadow of Shaddai, you are hidden in the strength of God Most High. He’s the hope that holds me and the stronghold to shelter me, the only God for me, and my great confidence.”
Psalms 91:1-2 TPT
If you are standing and looking around seeing all this great change, an arrow of pride straight from the enemy will pierce you. You are too obvious of a target amidst these great blessings of change. But when you are low and remain under My covering, I will protect you. I will advance you, and I will ensure that not a single one of these blessings becomes a source of pain.
‘When we live our lives within the shadow of God Most High, our secret hiding place, we will always be shielded from harm. How then could evil prevail against us or disease infect us?’
Psalms 91:9-10
Great days are ahead and are even knocking on your door today. When each blessing, answered prayer, promotion, accolade or anointing comes, get even lower. This will protect your heart, the minsitry I have called you to do, the commission on your life and the glorious days ahead. Humility is the way. Celebrate, yes. But get low and stay low. That’s the child I can truly delight to bless — the one who loves Me more than the blessing, the one who gives Me the credit and hides their face in awe of My goodness and the wonderful things I have done. The low way will protect you. Keep Me first, as I add all of these other things you have so desperately wanted. Watch as I transform your life for the better, for the very, very good. Stay humble. Stay low.
How to Respond
- Pray, Lord thank You for Your guidance, Your instruction and Your hand of favor on my life. Help me to never forget this instruction. I do not want to be a target for the enemy, and I want to permit no ounce of pride to enter my heart and taint the blessings that You so generously pour into my life. Help me to remain under Your covering as I choose to get and remain in the place of true humility.
- Declare, “When pride comes, then comes shame; But with the humble is wisdom.”
Proverbs 11:2 NKJV - Decree, I will get low and stay low. I will hide myself under the covering of the Lord so that I am not in a position that would allow pride to come into my life. I will choose humility when blessings and glorious wonders enter my life. I will seek the Lord and exalt Him above every gift and opportunity that He brings. I choose Him. He is greater than any blessing.
