Romans 8
“So now every righteous requirement of the law can be fulfilled through the Anointed One living his life in us. And we are free to live, not according to our flesh, but by the dynamic power of the Holy Spirit!”
Romans 8:4 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
True grace is on the way — not the counterfeit mechanical one, but true grace. The winds of My grace are blowing in your direction, and as you join with it, as you acknowledge it, work with it and receive it, My favor will flow. My favor will begin to open door after impossible door of opportunity, of delight, of astonishment. My favor will open to you things that will stun you, gobsmack you and totally blow your mind.
“The mature children of God are those who are moved by the impulses of the Holy Spirit. And you did not receive the “spirit of religious duty,” leading you back into the fear of never being good enough. But you have received the “Spirit of full acceptance,” enfolding you into the family of God. And you will never feel orphaned, for as he rises up within us, our spirits join him in saying the words of tender affection, “Beloved Father!””
Romans 8:14-15 TPT
The train has left the station, and we are barreling forward to the next destination. You can choose how you experience this journey. But My grace winds are blowing in your direction, and My favor is at the ready — poised to open doors. As you move in, operate in and partner with My grace, watch what doors favor opens. The choice is yours. I’m moving you forward regardless. But the exponential enjoyment and abundance of blessing come when you choose to acknowledge, say yes to and grab ahold of My grace. Grabbing My grace by faith for this new period, this transition that has you barreling forward to a new destination can be marked by so much favor and blessing and abundance. But here’s the thing, to grab My grace, you must let go of the things that you are using to steady you in this time. You must let go, so you can receive. You have to have open hands to grab something new.
“For the Holy Spirit makes God’s fatherhood real to us as he whispers into our innermost being, “You are God’s beloved child!” And since we are his true children, we qualify to share all his treasures, for indeed, we are heirs of God himself. And since we are joined to Christ, we also inherit all that he is and all that he has. We will experience being co-glorified with him provided that we accept his sufferings as our own.”
Romans 8:16-17 TPT
So this is a faith journey and a faith exercise. Favor is the reward of those who choose and grab ahold of My grace through faith. It’s just like when you first received Jesus as Savior. What I’m offering now is the fresh grace needed for the days ahead. You can grind it out, sure. And you will still move forward. But letting go, opening your hands, and receiving My grace by faith will cause My favor to open doors that propel you forward exponentially faster. And it will put you at the front of the line. Let go, and receive. Let go, so you can receive. Put on eyes of faith and a heart with a ready yes. It’s time to receive and walk forward in my great favor.
How to Respond
- Pray, Lord, thank You for Your grace winds. I don’t want to hold on to anything that is not of You, and I don’t want to hold onto anything that You are no longer in. Help me to be moved by the impulses of Your Spirit. Help me to trust You. Help me to let go, so I can receive the grace I need for this part of the journey. I want to be propelled forward by the doors Your favor opens for me. I want to live in the blessing of Your favor, and I want Your favor to move me to the front of the line.
- Declare, “So, what does all this mean? If God has determined to stand with us, tell me, who then could ever stand against us? For God has proved his love by giving us his greatest treasure, the gift of his Son. And since God freely offered him up as the sacrifice for us all, he certainly won’t withhold from us anything else he has to give.”
Romans 8:31-32 TPT - Decree, The Lord’s grace winds are blowing now. I am letting go of all that I’m clinging to for support, so I can grab ahold of His grace and be met by His abundant favor and blessing. I will walk through the doors that His favor opens. I will not hesitate. I will not allow myself to be intimidated. The blessing of the Lord makes rich, and He adds no sorrow to it. I will not live with a mindset of waiting for the other shoe to drop. I will delight myself in the favor and blessing of the Lord. And I will choose to live with abandon in His flow.
