Psalm 33
Compose new melodies that release new praises to the Lord. Play his praises on instruments with the anointing and skill he gives you. Sing and shout with passion; make a spectacular sound of joy— For God’s Word is something to sing about! He is true to his promises, his word can be trusted, and everything he does is reliable and right. The Lord loves seeing justice on the earth. Anywhere and everywhere you can find his faithful, unfailing love!
Psalms 33:3-5 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God,
A landslide of victory. I never fail. A landslide of victory is coming. It is appointed, and it is marked out. Landslides are very messy, and this one cannot be prevented or controlled. This will not be a clean victory. The victory will erupt, move and accelerate in the midst of the ferocious storm.
All he had to do was speak by his Spirit-Wind command, and God created the heavenlies. Filled with galaxies and stars, the vast cosmos he wonderfully made. His voice scooped out the seas. The ocean depths he poured into vast reservoirs. With breathtaking wonder, let everyone worship Yahweh, this awe-inspiring Creator. He breathed words and worlds were birthed. “Let there be,” and there it was— springing forth the moment he spoke, no sooner said than done! With his breath he scatters the schemes of nations who oppose him; they will never succeed.
Psalms 33:6-10 TPT
A storm will blow in the from the east, and the landslide of victory will begin in the west. This is a messy matter, tremendously messy. It will require a great deal of effort and work and clean-up to pick up the pieces. This is the next phase of the fight. It will be that the wild, torrential, hurricane-like storm kicks up from the east. And like the hurricanes you know, it will feel impossible to know how long until it will end. The landslide of victory will begin in the midst of the storm. And just as quickly as the storm rose up, it will dissipate and be over. Debris, mess and cleanup will begin required everywhere, all across the land. From east to west, north to south, the mess will permeate and be scattered across the whole land. No place will be unaffected.
His destiny-plan for the earth stands sure. His forever-plan remains in place and will never fail. Blessed and prosperous is that nation who has God as their Lord! They will be the people he has chosen for his own.
Psalms 33:11-12 TPT
The sun will rise on that day, and the victory from the southwest will cause the very earth beneath your feet to sing. It will cause the world to erupt with praise. The victory birthed in the midst of the storm, the landslide victory that was so sloppy, so messy, so mysterious and uncontrollable will stun the whole earth, and everyone will praise. The world will erupt with praise. Look to the southwest. That landslide, very messy victory is the key to unlocking the nation. Artifacts of this landslide, samples of even the mud that got left behind will be sought after as trophies and prized tokens treasured by families for many years to come.
How to Respond
- Worship the Lord. Praise Him for the victory He has already won for us.
- Pray, Holy Spirit do as You have said. Shelter us from the coming storm from the east and bring the landslide victory in the southwest that is the key to unlocking the nation. Help us as You always do — to pick up the pieces, clean up the mess and rebuild. Help us to rebuild using Your vision, Your blueprints, Your instruction and Your grace.
- Declare, The Lord alone is our radiant hope and we trust in him with all our hearts. His wraparound presence will strengthen us. As we trust, we rejoice with an uncontained joy flowing from Yahweh! Let your love and steadfast kindness overshadow us continually, for we trust and we wait upon you!
— Psalms 33:20-22 TPT - Decree, The Lord is my shelter and strong tower. He’s my very present help in times of trouble. A hurricane-style storm will blow into America, but I will not fear. I will hide myself in the Lord, and I will watch as He brings a landslide victory in the southwest that stuns the world. It will be the key to unlock this nation, and it will be an event that causes the very earth, the ground beneath us to erupt with praise. Great is the faithfulness of the Lord my King.
