Today’s Reading:
Psalm 63
2 Corinthians 6
O God of my life, I’m lovesick for you in this weary wilderness. I thirst with the deepest longings to love you more, with cravings in my heart that can’t be described. Such yearning grips my soul for you, my God! I’m energized every time I enter your heavenly sanctuary to seek more of your power and drink in more of your glory. For your tender mercies mean more to me than life itself. How I love and praise you, God!
Psalms 63:1-3 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Worship Me in spirit and in truth. Let songs from your heart rise up to please Me, to honor Me, to glorify My Holy Name. I Am the air you breathe. I Am the blood inside your veins. I Am every good impulse, thought, action, word and deed. I Am in all things and through all things. Nothing that is has been made apart from Me. I hold all things together. Including you. My love holds you together, and I uphold you with My righteous right hand. Who should you fear? What should trouble you? Your imagination is too small. Think bigger. Dream bigger. Expect bigger, more, greater and multiplied.
Daily I will worship you passionately and with all my heart. My arms will wave to you like banners of praise. I overflow with praise when I come before you, for the anointing of your presence satisfies me like nothing else. You are such a rich banquet of pleasure to my soul. I lie awake each night thinking of you and reflecting on how you help me like a father. I sing through the night under your splendor-shadow, offering up to you my songs of delight and joy!
Psalms 63:4-7 TPT
My love for you is infinite and ever growing and multiplying. My grace stretches out as a great blanketing cloud bringing refuge and blessing showers. Don’t abandon or forsake Me. Don’t white knuckle life and try to do it on your own. Why would you, when My multiplied and ever multiplying love and grace and favor are supplied in abundance to get you an unfair advantage in every aspect of your life. Don’t live like a pauper in the smallest room of the mansion that I have built you and abundantly furnished and supplied. Open up your eyes, your mind and your heart. Make room for more. If you can expect more and see more, you can receive more. You are manning the valve that releases abundance into your own life. Turn it, and open it wide. You have only let in a trickle, but you can release the flow.
Dear, dear Corinthians, I can’t tell you how much I long for you to enter this wide-open, spacious life. We didn’t fence you in. The smallness you feel comes from within you. Your lives aren’t small, but you’re living them in a small way. I’m speaking as plainly as I can and with great affection. Open up your lives. Live openly and expansively!
2 Corinthians 6:11-13 MSG
The flow is dependent on your posture, your mindset, your heart’s faith and your expectations. You have not because you ask not. You have little, because you have only asked or believed for a little. It’s time to blow the lid off. It’s time to expect and live in and generate and regenerate abundance. Let Me show you how.
Start with love. Start with dwelling on and singing about My unfailing love. And allow My love and thoughts of My love to permeate every cell of your body and every corner of your heart and mind. My love will teach you and lead you into abundance.
How to Respond
- Meditate on the faithfulness and absolute unending love God has for you.
- Pray, Lord, Your love is so unfathomable to me. Help me anchor my soul in your faithfulness and delight myself and live carefree in Your love. I don’t want to be held back by fear, anxiety or low expectations. I want to live in the fullness of all that Your great, expansive love and sacrifice has provided. Thank You for loving me. Give me a fresh revelation of Your love today, and help me to be a living expression of Your love wherever I go. Sanctify my imagination, so I can dream bigger with You, so I can expect more and be positioned to receive more.
- Declare, With passion I pursue and cling to you. Because I feel your grip on my life, I keep my soul close to your heart.
— Psalms 63:8 TPT - Decree, The Lord’s love is better than life, and His love never fails. He is absolutely good, and His love is why I am living, breathing and moving today. He is so faithful, so good, and He is the Creator of Heaven and Earth. Nothing is too difficult for Him. Nothing is beyond His concern or sight. In Him is no lack, no deficit, no dryness. He is the God of abundance and abundant, zoe life is in Him. He is more than worthy of all of my love, affection and praise. I am stirring up my faith, dreaming bigger, believing for more and positioning myself to receive, live in and generate abundance.
