Today’s Reading:
Proverbs 2
Isaiah 57
Habakkuk 3
Revelation 5
John 8
“My child, will you treasure my wisdom? Then, and only then, will you acquire it. And only if you accept my advice and hide it within will you succeed. So train your heart to listen when I speak and open your spirit wide to expand your discernment— then pass it on to your sons and daughters.”
Proverbs 2:1-2 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
I’m challenging the status quo. I’m bringing challenges that upend, topple and dismantle the status quo. I will give you all that you ask and more. Tune in to Me. Attune your ears to hear My voice. My instruction is for your good, your benefit, your right alignment and for your success. I want you to prosper. The status quo has been a stumbling block to success and to prosperity, but I Am changing the rules of the road. The rules and norms by which you have operated must change and will change. In order to succeed, I’m up-ending the stumbling blocks and the large-scale obstacles that have been standing in your way.
“When you cry out, let your collection of idols deliver you. But the wind will carry all of them up, And a breath will take them away. But he who takes refuge in Me will inherit the land And will possess My holy mountain.” And it will be said, “Build up, build up, prepare the way, Remove every obstacle out of the way of My people.” For thus says the high and exalted One Who lives forever, whose name is Holy, “I dwell on a high and holy place, And also with the contrite and lowly of spirit In order to revive the spirit of the lowly And to revive the heart of the contrite.”
Isaiah 57:13-15 NASB1995
When you look up now, you should see a runway instead of rocks, idols and altars that had been strewn in your path. Before now you didn’t recognize those rocks and altars and idols for what they were. They were erected by others, and they surrounded you. What you thought was a wall of fortification and protection was actually set up as a great series of obstructions to your path, to your vision and to your freedom. The false idols that once stood have now been removed. The altars that obstructed have been demolished, and the stone that made them have been ground into fine dust and cast to the four winds.
“The Lord God is my strength, And He has made my feet like hinds’ feet, And makes me walk on my high places. For the choir director, on my stringed instruments.”
Habakkuk 3:19 NASB1995
What held you in a prison cell that you believed to be a place of fortification, has now been revealed, toppled and dismantled. And where I have set your feet now — is on an unobstructed path that is not meant for walking or running. It is meant to be a runway that sets you to flight. The bars that imprisoned you that you believed to be a natural part of the landscape have fallen. It’s time to stand up to your full height. It’s time to regain your strength and learn to fully assert your real, true authority. It’s time to put on those kingly-priestly garments and begin legislating from the Heavenlies. It is time to soar. It is time to take flight. It is time to leave behind that place of barrenness, confinement, and concealment from the outside world. I’ve called you to tread upon high places. I’ve given you sure footing in every place you’re called to go.
“and you have made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they shall reign on the earth.””
Revelation 5:10 ESV
Don’t relapse back into the old ways and mindsets of slavery, of bondage of religion and of death. My call and My intention for you, what I have done — everything — was to make fully available to you the way to have life and life more abundantly. Take off those grave clothes, and don your kingly-priestly garments of praise and rulership. The day has come. The time has come. The anointing has come, and now the cleared runway has come. Join Me. I will teach you to soar at great heights. I will give you vision, alacrity and speed which you never could have dreamed. This is a new time. You’ve been set free.
How to Respond
- Pray, Lord thank You for setting me free from places and things that I didn’t even recognizing were confining me and holding me back. Help me to stand tall and move and operate in the true authority You’ve given me. Help me to let go of fear and instead take flight. I want to soar with You at great heights.
- Declare, “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”
John 8:36 ESV - Decree, The Lord has set me free from things I didn’t even understand were holding me back, were pressing me down and were confining me. I am now fully and wonderfully free, so I will not remain in this place or posture. I remove the grave clothes, the slave clothes. And I am now donning the kingly-priestly garments of praise and rulership. I have been set free, anointed and positioned for flight, so I will soar with the Lord.
