I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Choices are coming like hot potatoes. Take hold of the ones I send you. And you will be imbued with power, and you will burn with passion for My Name. I’m offering you the choice — even choices — that will empower you, enable you and cause you to set your world as you know it on fire.
This is a time of passion and fire. This is a time of rapid, dramatic change and sharp, unpredictable turns. Are you positioned to receive? Are you positioned to take hold? Are you positioned to jump and run with fire and passion for My Name?
““Your lives light up the world. For how can you hide a city that stands on a hilltop? And who would light a lamp and then hide it in an obscure place? Instead, it’s placed where everyone in the house can benefit from its light. So don’t hide your light! Let it shine brightly before others, so that your commendable works will shine as light upon them, and then they will give their praise to your Father in heaven.””

What will you do? Will you sit quietly by in solitude and watch the lamp I’ve given you? Or will you take that light, raise it up high and bring it to the world? You were not meant to remain inside of four walls. You were meant to spread out, to travel, to speak, to meet people. It’s time to break out of the space and attitude of isolation. It’s time to hit the road. It’s time to spread your delight of Me like an infection that leaves behind joy, laughter and sunlight everywhere you go.

You get this one life, this one chance to be the fullness of everything I’ve called you to be, everything I’ve made you to be. How can you find out what I’ve put inside of you if you always do the same things and you always go the same way? It’s time for change. It’s time to experiment. It’s time to learn and unlearn and relearn. It’s time to see things from a fresh perspective and be comfortable with not having visibility on the road ahead. Life is about to change. I Am offering change like a lightning bolt that is charged with adventure. What will you do?
How to Respond
- Pray, Lord help me to get unstuck. Help me to change my perspective, my attitude, and my vision for the future. Help me to grab hold of the hot potatoes You send my way, and help me to be ready to run with them. I want to be positioned for change, for adventure and to step into the fullness of who You have made and called me to be.
- Declare, “You’ve gone into my future to prepare the way, and in kindness you follow behind me to spare me from the harm of my past. You have laid your hand on me! You saw who you created me to be before I became me! Before I’d ever seen the light of day, the number of days you planned for me were already recorded in your book.”
— Psalms 139:5, 16 TPT - Decree, The Lord is bringing choices for change, adventure and assignments that bring fire, love and passion for His Name to the world. I will not sit idly by. He has my yes, and I will be in position to receive and to run.
