Psalm 16
Habakkuk 3
“And he said to me, “My holy lovers in the land are my glorious ones, who fulfill all my desires.” Yet there are those who yield to their weakness, and they will have troubles unending. I never gather with such ones, nor give them honor in any way.”
Psalms 16:3-4 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
It’s time for a holiness adventure. It’s time to leave the place you have been and come up higher. You have left the ground warfare, but the place you are operating is still vulnerable to witchcraft, spells, curses and demonic attack. Come up higher still, and get above the snakeline. Get above that second heaven dimension and atmosphere. Come up here where the air is clear and the warfare can be seen clearly for what it is. Internecine war ceases in your midst, in your life when you come up to this level.
The level below here — the level where you have been living has your soul permeable to provocation, to stinging, to bites, arrows and darts. But I Am calling you up higher where the air is clear, where the view is not clouded by smoke, enchantments and witchcraft; and where the ground is not riddled with traps, scorpions and snakes.
“Yahweh, you alone are my inheritance. You are my prize, my pleasure, and my portion. You hold my destiny and its timing in your hands. Your pleasant path leads me to pleasant places. I’m overwhelmed by the privileges that come with following you! The way you counsel me makes me praise you more, for your whispers in the night give me wisdom, showing me what to do next. Because I set you, Yahweh, always close to me, my confidence will never be weakened, for I experience your wraparound presence every moment.”
Psalms 16:5-8 TPT
As you travel up higher you will find the weights, the burdens, the worries fall away. And the glory and bliss of My Presence is what remains. You will still have instructions. You will still have good work to do. But it’s different from up here. It’s so different. The weightiness and the heaviness evaporate or lift away. And what remains is clarity, hope, faith, determination and an awareness of My guiding Presence and love. Whom or what shall you fear in this place? Whom or what shall you fear in My Presence? Demons can’t tread here. Snakes can’t entangle you here. Vipers cannot sting you here, and scorpions cannot either.
“Because of you, I know the path of life, as I taste the fullness of joy in your presence. At your right side I experience divine pleasures forevermore!”
Psalms 16:11 TPT
This is the third heaven dimension reality. It’s the place of My Perfect peace. It’s the place of total belonging. It’s the place where generals ascend to take their orders, to consult and commune with their King and to look over and survey their troops. I’m calling you up higher — to the place of generals of the faith. Don’t stay down there. It’s time to ascend.
How to Respond
- Pray, Lord Thank You for Your invitation to come up higher. Thank You for Your invitation to leave the place that is dominated by my soul behind, so I can get above the place of constant spiritual warfare and assault. I love the place of Your Presence Lord. Help me to stay here continually. I don’t want to descend when my dedicated time of communion and prayer draws to a close. I want to carry that with me throughout the day and even in the night.
- Declare, Yahweh is the Lord of my strength; he makes my feet sure-footed as a deer bounding upon the high places.
—Habakkuk 3:19 TPT - Decree, The Lord is calling me to a holiness adventure, and I accept the invitation. He is calling me up higher — beyond the place dominated by my soul — to the place of continually staying in His Presence. In this up higher place, I can see the warfare, but I am not touched by it. I can perceive what is happening on those lower levels, and I can direct my prayer, worship, declarations and decrees with greater clarity, insight and authority from this place than any other place I have been stationed before. Worthy and Holy is the Name of the Lord.
