Today’s Reading:
Job 38
1 Peter 5
Jeremiah 30
Psalm 27

“Have you entered the storehouses of the snow, Or have you seen the storehouses of the hail, Which I have reserved for the time of distress, For the day of war and battle?”
‭‭Job‬ ‭38‬:‭22‬-‭23‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
The enemy is stirring up difficulty, sorrow and strife. He is kicking up chaos, wars and destruction. But My love conquers all. My love and My resurrection power can restore all — better than before. Greater than before. Stronger and more magnificent than before. Stay in peace. Stay in calm, and rest in Me. Rest in the assurance that I will never let you down, that I will never leave unfinished business behind. I Am the one who restores all, and this is a time to recover all.

“Be well balanced and always alert, because your enemy, the devil, roams around incessantly, like a roaring lion looking for its prey to devour. Take a decisive stand against him and resist his every attack with strong, vigorous faith. For you know that your believing brothers and sisters around the world are experiencing the same kinds of troubles you endure. And then, after your brief suffering, the God of all loving grace, who has called you to share in his eternal glory in Christ, will personally and powerfully restore you and make you stronger than ever. Yes, he will set you firmly in place and build you up. And he has all the power needed to do this —forever! Amen.”
‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭5‬:‭8‬-‭11‬ ‭TPT‬‬

In the midst of the chaos of the enemy’s making, we will plunder his camp. We will pilfer his goods, his storehouses and his hidden secret treasures. It was all ill gotten gain, but I will redeem it as I place it in your hands and deposit it into your account and put it under your charge and stewardship. Massive change is coming, and I will use the enemy’s chaos generation against him. I will use the chaos he has caused to bring destruction as the time to rob him blind, to fill the storehouses of My people, and to replenish all that he stole from them.

““But rest assured, all those who devoured you will be devoured; all your enemies, every one of them, will go into captivity. Those who devastated you will be devastated, and all who made you their prey, I will make a prey. For I, Yahweh, say to you who were once called ‘Outcast,’ I will heal your wounds. And to you who were once called ‘Forgotten Zion,’ I will restore your health.” Yahweh says: “See, I will restore the fortunes of the tents of Jacob and have compassion on his families. The city will be rebuilt on its mound with the city fortress in its rightful place. Out of them will be heard the joyous songs of thanksgiving and the raucous shouts of joy. I will cause them to flourish and not diminish. I will bring them honor, and they will not be humiliated. Their descendants will be just like they were before. Their community will be fixed firmly before me, and I shall punish all their oppressors.”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭30‬:‭16‬-‭20‬ ‭TPT‬‬

This is not so unlike when David went to Ziklag and was left desolate along with his men. They misdirected their loss and anger at him. But I strengthened him. I imparted wisdom and strategy for how to advance on the enemy who plundered, and just as I did for him, so will I do for you. You will recover all, and more besides that. You will plunder the plunderer and rob the robber. The tables are turning. The fortunes are changing hands. This is a time of recompense, recovery, promotion and advancement. Stick with Me. Remain in Me, and you will recover all and then some. It’s the delight of My heart to do that for you and with you. It’s a set-up for what I want to do in you and through you. So this is just the start.

How to Respond

  • Pray, Lord thank You that You waste nothing. Thank You that chaos, destruction and strife are not difficulties for You. Thank You for using the enemy’s own plans against him and for Your promise to punish our oppressors and to restore and repay all that is lost and then some.
  • Declare, “I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for the Lord.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭27‬:‭13‬-‭14‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬
  • Decree, I will stand and watch as the Lord robs the enemy blind, as He recovers all that has been stolen and repays it back into my hands. The Lord sees all and He knows all, and nothing is too difficult for Him. The time for repayment has come.
