Today’s Reading:
Ephesians 3
Psalm 84
Psalm 87
“So I kneel humbly in awe before the Father of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah, the perfect Father of every father and child in heaven and on the earth. And I pray that he would unveil within you the unlimited riches of his glory and favor until supernatural strength floods your innermost being with his divine might and explosive power.”
Ephesians 3:14-16 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
What seems impossible, too far gone, too far-fetched, too outlandish or nonsensical, too impractical, I can do it, and I will do it if I put it in your heart and You are in Me. I’m busy doing work that seems impractical to the critical observer, but to the one whose heart will soar with the finished product — it is a gem, a gift and an answer to prayer. Your majesty flows from Mine and the ways of royalty are not always practical, nor should they be. Life in the Kingdom of God can be extravagant, because I lavish My love upon you, because I Am that good to those who love Me and are called according to My purposes, who work with Me and walk with Me in the cool of the day.
‘Then, by constantly using your faith, the life of Christ will be released deep inside you, and the resting place of his love will become the very source and root of your life. Then you will be empowered to discover what every holy one experiences—the great magnitude of the astonishing love of Christ in all its dimensions. How deeply intimate and far-reaching is his love! How enduring and inclusive it is! Endless love beyond measurement that transcends our understanding—this extravagant love pours into you until you are filled to overflowing with the fullness of God!’
Ephesians 3:17-19
Impractical things and improbable things are going to start happening one after the next after another. And they are for you — to delight your heart. Don’t feel the need to explain the practicality of what I Am doing in your life or through you. Just immerse yourself in it. Relish in it with all joy. Not everything has to serve practical purpose — so long as it speaks of Me and testifies of My beauty, My creativity, My goodness. Don’t be so burdened with the need to be practical. That can be tedious and boring. I want to do more with you — in you and through you. Some beauty elevates the practical into a better lived experience. Some forms don’t improve function but make it more delightful. I Am a God of glory, whimsy, beauty and style. It’s not all austere lines, gray tones and checked boxes. The joy of life comes from creating with flair, from living with flair and from being the version of you I created — which does not need to simply be practical.
“Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you.”
Ephesians 3:20 TPT
My grace is on the seemingly impractical and the very improbable right now. My love and delight is flowing to areas of your life, heart and imagination that will bring testimonies that might make others scoff, doubt or question. But what do you care? Don’t sit there wasting your breath on those who don’t operate in wonder and awe — submerged in the beauty of Creation and the imagining of what is possible, what could be possible and what I want to see made maninfest in the Earth.
“And the princes of God’s feasts will sing and dance, singing, “Every fountain of delight springs up from your life within me!””
Psalms 87:7 TPT
My improbable gifts don’t need to be explained. They need to be embraced and enjoyed, and they need to be part of your testimony without apology or over-explanation. The point is, I Am that good. And soon you will be talking about it in a new way. Watch the impractical and the improbable dreams you have start to roll up and roll in. Squeal with delight. Jump for joy. These kinds of gifts deserve unusual celebrations.
How To Respond
- Pray, Lord, help me to stir up anticipation, expectation and the wonder of You. Lord I desire to be a unique display of Your goodness and a testimony of Your lavish, extravagant love for Your children.
- Declare, “For just one day of intimacy with you is like a thousand days of joy rolled into one! I’d rather stand at the threshold in front of the Gate Beautiful, ready to go in and worship my God, than to live my life without you in the most beautiful palace of the wicked. For the Lord God is brighter than the brilliance of a sunrise! Wrapping himself around me like a shield, he is so generous with his gifts of grace and glory. Those who walk along his paths with integrity will never lack one thing they need, for he provides it all! O Lord of Heaven’s Armies, what euphoria fills those who forever trust in you!”
Psalms 84:10-12 TPT - Decree, The Lord is doing the impractical and improbable right now. His grace is flowing to things that seem strange to those who don’t live in the awe and wonder of Him and who don’t understand that life in the Kingdom of God can be extravagant. I will enjoy it. I will not diminish it or apologize for the good things He brings into my life — no matter how strange or lavish these blessings seem to those around me.
