Today’s Reading:
Hebrews 12
Psalm 32
Psalm 37

“We look away from the natural realm and we focus our attention and expectation onto Jesus who birthed faith within us and who leads us forward into faith’s perfection. His example is this: Because his heart was focused on the joy of knowing that you would be his, he endured the agony of the cross and conquered its humiliation, and now sits exalted at the right hand of the throne of God!”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭12‬:‭2‬ ‭TPT‬‬

I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
You have the right of behavior. You have the right to present what your will is to Me — what your designs are, what your preferences are. Those are what drive your behavior. Therefore, you have a right of behavior. They align with your will. I have a right of behavior too. I have the right to take you by your right hand and to entrust to you the desires of My heart for you. It is yours to do with it what you will. This is the honest exchange between My lovers and Me. They honestly present their will, and they release it freely in order to take hold of Mine. This is the joy set before them — entrusting their wills, their desires and their hearts to Me, trusting that My ways are higher and for their greater good, benefit and even delight, for their future and their hope. This is the ongoing exchange.

In Strong's Concordance, behavior is linked to the Greek word anastrophē, which is assigned the Strong's number 391.

anastrophé: Conduct, behavior, manner of life

The term anastrophē encompasses not just the actions of an individual but also reflects their inner beliefs and values. It is used in various New Testament passages to illustrate the expected conduct of believers, highlighting that behavior is a manifestation of one's faith and relationship with God.

Strong’s 391 gathers New Testament teaching on the believer’s manner of life into a single, cohesive theme: redemption produces observable holiness. Former lifestyles are renounced, present conduct is sanctified, and future hope fuels ongoing transformation.

‘I hear the Lord saying, “I will stay close to you, instructing and guiding you along the pathway for your life. I will advise you along the way and lead you forth with my eyes as your guide. So don’t make it difficult; don’t be stubborn when I take you where you’ve not been before. Don’t make me tug you and pull you along. Just come with me!”’

If you examine honestly what you release to Me versus what I release to you in exchange, you can say honestly, this has more substance — what the Lord has put in my hand has greater weight, substance and life than what I released and entrusted to Him. This is the seaon of exchanges — your will for Mine. Remember, there is a lot of overlap. They are not always opposite or different. Sometimes they are even the same basic substance but different molecular weights. They are the same general direction but with a slightly different path. Our wills are not always as divergent as they once were. Make a practice daily of opening up your hand to Me and releasing what’s inside. The things you cling to — cling to them lightly, so I can replace them, so I can upgrade them, so I can remove them or retool them.

“Keep trusting in the Lord and do what is right in his eyes. Fix your heart on the promises of God, and you will dwell in the land, feasting on his faithfulness. Find your delight and true pleasure in Yahweh, and he will give you what you desire the most. Give God the right to direct your life, and as you trust him along the way, you’ll find he pulled it off perfectly!”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭37‬:‭3‬-‭5‬ ‭TPT‬‬

This is the seaon of My favor. And big adjustments are being made. Just be willing. Just be open. You have the right of your behavior. And I have the right of Mine. But in order to make this great exchange, you must seek Me. You must come over and approach Me. And you must release your will, before I can release Mine. This is the day of My favor and faithfulness. You have no need to fear releasing and entrusting what you hold in your hand into Mine. It is waiting, and it is open.

How to Respond

  • Trust the Lord with your heart, will and future.
  • Pray, Lord, help me to recognize and delight in the fact that Your ways are always higher than my ways and Your thought are always higher than Mine. Thank You that You know how You made me better than I do, and Your purposes for my life are not a mystery to You. Help me to release my will to You continually, so You can release Your will into my life for my good and my future.
  • Declare, “So celebrate the goodness of God! He shows this kindness to everyone who is his. Go ahead—shout for joy, all you upright ones who want to please him!”
    ‭‭— Psalms‬ ‭32‬:‭11‬ ‭TPT‬‬
  • Decree, I release My desires and will into the open hand of the Lord. And I gladly and joyfully receive what He has to release into Mine. I will trust Him, and I will obey Him like a most beloved child. I have nothing to fear, and as I obey, I will have nothing to regret.
