Psalm 30
“O sing and make melody, you steadfast lovers of God. Give thanks to him every time you reflect on his holiness!”
Psalms 30:4 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
This is the morning of your joy. I have transformed your weeping into a whirling dance of ecstatic praise, so live free in Me. Live abundance in Me. Shine radiantly and astonishingly bright with Me. You have taken on missions before that were not yours. You borrowed them. You even paid a great price for them. But now they are parked back with their rightful owners. This is the time of the upgrade. I’m taking you from the dark and hidden place to the wide open spacious place of light. I Am bringing you to a place of choosing.
“I’ve learned that his anger lasts for a moment, but his loving favor lasts a lifetime! We may weep through the night, but at daybreak it will turn into shouts of ecstatic joy.”
Psalms 30:5 TPT
Where have borrowed and taken on the missions of others, you will no longer. You have recognized that and brought that period to a close. And where you walked around in the wilderness by foot, I Am bringing you to a vast, wide open spacious place of light and choices. This is the place where My Spirit is with you to guide you in making the best decision, and My Father’s heart is delighting over allowing you to choose your desired vehicle for this new mission. The vehicle will determine the parameters of the mission, so choose well. Choose wisely.
Walking in the callings of others rather than stepping into your own — I have used that, I have grown you there, but I have drawn that time to a close. This is the time of fresh equipping for a new mission, and the deed on the new mission has only your name. Though there is room for the names of others.
“Then he broke through and transformed all my wailing into a whirling dance of ecstatic praise! He has torn the veil and lifted from me the sad heaviness of mourning. He wrapped me in the glory-garments of gladness.”
Psalms 30:11 TPT
My joy comes in the morning, and where you have been hidden and beneath, I Am bringing you to light. You will see My faithfulness. You will dance wild dances of praise to Me, as I draw you to this new vehicle, this new equipping for your next mission which is fully yours. It’s your mission, but let Me drive. I will make you an itinerant minister serving those whom I have drawn to the desert, and you are better equipped than John was.
How to Respond
- Rejoice in God’s grace, His gifts and the nearness of His Presence.
- Pray, Holy Spirit help me to know how to handle this new season. Help me to leave the habits and mindsets of the past behind, so I can live free in You. I want to choose the vehicle for this new mission well. Help me to make the best choice, and help me to stay in the passenger’s seat so You can drive.
- Declare, “How could I be silent when it’s time to praise you? Now my heart sings out, bursting with joy— a bliss inside that keeps me singing, “I can never thank you enough!””
¸—Psalms 30:12 TPT - Decree, My God is the God of the breakthrough and of fulfillment. He has moved me from the hidden and dark place of borrowed missions for which I paid a great price, and He is bringing me to the wide open spacious place of light and choice for how to proceed in the new mission that He tailor-made for me. The deed for this new mission has only my name on it, yet the Lord has left room for others to join.
