Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 55
Lamentations 3
“As the snow and rain that fall from heaven do not return until they have accomplished their purpose, soaking the earth and causing it to sprout with new life, providing seed to sow and bread to eat. So also will be the word that I speak; it does not return to me unfulfilled. My word performs my purpose and fulfills the mission I sent it out to accomplish.”
Isaiah 55:10-11 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Grace. Sudden, torrential downpours of grace will happen upon your life. It will be like a very isolated, sudden outpouring on your life. It will be a very surprising and unorthodox series of grace events. Grace will come at you from unexpected places and angles. It will be so unexpected that you will first gasp with surprise, and then you will laugh and laugh, because the source of this grace was right there the whole time, right in plain sight.
For you will leave your exile with joy and be led home wrapped in peace. The mountains and hills in front of you will burst into singing and the trees of the field will applaud!
Isaiah 55:12 TPT
Transition is here. You have moved from sowing to ongoing cultivation and harvest. This is a fruitfulness, yours is a fruitfulness that requires ongoing cultivation and connection. It is not a one time thing. Be diligent to look after the places of fruitfulness in your life. And they will bear more fruit. They will multiply their harvest, and they will stay in good health enabling them to do so. Transparency in operations is key. Be straightforward and open about everything you do. That practice will serve you long beyond this present time. Invite other workers in to come and assist with the cultivation. This doesn’t have to be done alone. Cultivate your warriors.
Cypress trees will flourish where there were only thorns and myrtle trees instead of briars. These will stand as a testimony to Yahweh’s renown, everlasting signs that will not be cut off.
Isaiah 55:13 TPT
I Am providing all the needed elements for growth, for prosperity and for abundant life. You must cultivate it well. You must be diligent in taking care, and I will bring the increase. Choose well who you allow in. And choose well who you follow.
How to Respond
- Pray, Lord, thank You that You have provided everything I need to be fruitful and to prosper right where I am. Help me to cultivate where You’ve called me to cultivate. Help me to be transparent and open about all that I do, and help me to live in expectation of Your great torrential showers of grace and Your sneaky, hilarious unexpected showers of grace. I want to live in the delight of You while doing all You’ve called me to do.
- Declare, Yahweh’s tender mercies have no end, and the kindness of his endless love is never exhausted. New, fresh mercies greet me with every sunrise. So wonderfully great is your faithfulness! I tell my soul, “Yahweh is my abundant portion. I need nothing more. So, I will put all my hope in him.”
— Lamentations 3:22-24 TPT - Decree, God’s grace is going to find me in torrential downpours and unexpected showers in this season, and even this week. I have the favor of the Lord, and He is providing everything I need to prosper and multiply right where I am. I will cultivate. I will live openly, and I will invite others in to help. I will be very discerning about who I invite in and who I follow. And the Lord will bring the increase.
