Psalm 147
I will spend my life praising you and singing high praises to you, my God, every day of my life! We can never look to men for help; no matter who they are, they can’t save us, for even our great leaders fail and fall. They too are just mortals who will one day die. At death the spirits of all depart and their bodies return to dust. In the day of their death all their projects and plans are over. But those who hope in the Lord will be happy and pleased! Our help comes from the God of Jacob!
Psalms 146:2-5 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Victory is on the march. It’s in the clouds, and it’s on the ground. Victories will sprout up from seemingly nowhere, and they will fall like fresh showers from the sky. Soon there will be no where you look that will not be covered with and saturated by victories — with more being contiually added as days go by. This is not passive victory. You have been planting the seeds and lifting your prayers, and now the time of maturation and saturation has come.
Yahweh supports and strengthens the humble, but the ungodly will be brought down to the dust. Sing out with songs of thanksgiving to the Lord! Let’s sing our praises with melodies overflowing! He fills the sky with clouds, sending showers to water the earth so that the grass springs up on the mountain fields and the earth produces food for man.
Psalms 147:6-8 TPT
You will see great grassroots victories. You will see great high-level, top-down victories. You will look around with profound wonder and astonishment and say in all truth, “I have never been in the midst of such victory. It’s everywhere I go. It’s everything I touch, and it is as far as the eye can see. When I look downfield or upfield, to the left, right, east, west north or south, I see victories.” This victory that is coming from the grassroots will have a pungent scent and flavor to it. It will be very agreeable to those who love truth. It will be very distinctive, and it will offend those who hate the truth. Regardless of who likes it — these victories will pop up everywhere, and the ground will be covered with them. These victories will attract those who can multiply the victories, those who can spread the victories abroad, and those who will repel enemy intrusions into these conquered areas.
His people don’t find security in strong horses, for horsepower is nothing to him. Manpower is even less impressive! Yahweh shows favor to those who fear him, those who wait for his tender embrace.
Psalms 147:10-11 TPT
Even as the grassroots and the ground-level victories are won, profound victories will come from the top. And these victories will impact many. They will impact everyone. They will bring great cleansing and refreshing to the land, and they will foster and boost the victories growing from the ground. This is a time where you will be surrounded by and covered with victories. This is that time.
How to Respond
- Praise the Lord, and look around you with great expectation for victories.
- Pray, Holy Spirit come. Help me to see and be part of the victories You are causing to sprout from the ground. Thank You for hearing our prayers and for causing great showers of victories to come to the people from above. You are a wonder working God, and You have already won every victory. Lord, cause the seeds of victory that we have sown in tears to sprout forth in abundance. Bring our abundant harvest of victories on the ground and water them and refresh us with massive victories from above.
- Declare, Jerusalem, praise the Lord! Zion, worship your God! For he has strengthened the authority of your gates. He even blesses you with more children. He’s the one who brings peace to your borders, feeding you the most excellent of fare. He sends out his orders throughout the world; his words run as swift messengers, bringing them to pass.
— Psalms 147:12-15 TPT - Decree, The Lord has said that this is the time of abundant grassroots victories — as far as the eye can see. And they will be refreshed by and bolstered by great, tremendous victories from a high level. Those high level victories will cleanse the land and will touch everyone. This is a time of abounding in victories.
