Lord, you have always been our eternal home, our hiding place from generation to generation. Long before you gave birth to the earth and before the mountains were born, you have been from everlasting to everlasting, the one and only true God. When you speak the words “Life, return to me!” man turns back to dust.
Psalms 90:1-3 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
I am All in All. Everything that has its being starts and ends in Me. The buck stops here. No more lying and deceit, no more trampling on My people and dragging their names through the mud. Enough is enough. I have called an end to that song, and the enemy must be silent.
“Now not with you alone am I making this covenant and this oath, but both with those who stand here with us today in the presence of the Lord our God and with those who are not with us here today (for you know how we lived in the land of Egypt, and how we came through the midst of the nations through which you passed; moreover, you have seen their abominations and their idols of wood, stone, silver, and gold, which they had with them); so that there will not be among you a man or woman, or family or tribe, whose heart turns away today from the Lord our God, to go and serve the gods of those nations; that there will not be among you a root bearing poisonous fruit and wormwood.”

Trace back your roots. Go back to your ancestors. Rip up the shallow roots that have allowed this to transpire. Rip up the shallow roots in your bloodline, in your family tree that have fed this unbeknownst to you and that have allowed it to persist. Through this one toxic root, the enemy wants to weaken the whole tree and then cut it down. But I say, no. Not on My watch. You must dig up the diseased root. You must cut it off at the base of the tree so it has no way to reach you any further, no way to intoxicate the family line with this poison any longer. It is fear. It is dread. It is suspicion and always wondering when the other shoe will drop. Cut that off. Rebuke it. Renounce it in the Name of Jesus, and call on My Holy Spirit to come in to detoxify the wounds and the places in your mind, heart and soul where this poison was allowed to fester. This is not your fault. You unknowingly agreed with it. But it has been in your family line for a very long time.
Let the sunrise of your love end our dark night. Break through our clouded dawn again! Only you can satisfy our hearts, filling us with songs of joy to the end of our days. We’ve been overwhelmed with grief; come now and overwhelm us with gladness. Replace our years of trouble with decades of delight. Let us see your miracles again, and let the rising generation see the glorious wonders you’re famous for. O Lord our God, let your sweet beauty rest upon us. Come work with us, and then our works will endure; you will give us success in all we do.
Psalms 90:14-17 TPT
Today is the day to cut that off and stop the poisonous flow. Today is the day to rejoice over your victory, rejoice over your Lord with singing and gladness. Today is the day to be glad, because you have been set free from that prison mindset of fear and foreboding.
Today is a day to dance. Invite My Holy Spirit to come in and to heal those places. Replace the space they took up with laughter, with love and with joy. Above all, replace them with passionate love, because My perfect love drives out all fear. This is what I Am doing today. I Am showing you how to cut off the source of the poison in your life and in your family line. I Am showing you the way to live with your mind at ease and perfect peace. Rejoice in Me. Delight in Me. The days of constant fear, anxiety and expecting the worst are over.
How to Respond
- Decree, I rebuke and renounce this root in my bloodline that has fed the whole family tree with anxiety, fear, foreboding and expecting the worst. I repent for coming into agreement with this poisonous root.
- Pray, Holy Spirit, come in to detoxify those places that have festered, and fill me afresh with the love of the Lord, the joy of the Lord and the overcoming victory of the Lord. I will rejoice and be glad in You today and all that You have done for me. Thank You for giving me insight and instruction in how to deal with the deadly poison that the enemy has been feeding into my bloodline. Thank You that You revealed it and have shown me how to break free from it. I will live in the fullness of the freedom You paid for Jesus. I will no longer be beset by the enemy.
