Today’s Reading:
Psalm 57
Psalm 115
Psalm 140
From heaven he will send a father’s help to save me. He will trample down those who trample me. Pause in his presence He will always show me love by his gracious and constant care. I am surrounded by these fierce and brutal men. They are like lions just wanting to tear me to shreds. Why must I continue to live among these seething terrorists, breathing out their angry threats and insults against me? Lord God, be exalted as you soar throughout the heavens. May your shining glory be seen in the skies! Let it be seen high above over all the earth!
Psalms 57:3-5 TPT
He Is Clearing the Way Forward & Making Divine Connections
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
I’m speaking favor over My people. In fact, I Am hovering over and singing words of favor and life over My people. This is a time of justice, and this is a time of favor. What had been so difficult, so fraught, so embattled will be mowed down with one word from My mouth. What has invaded and beset you, what was sent against you to cause difficulty and to slow you down, I Am mowing down with My breath of life. I Am smoothing the path, and I Am making the rocky way plain. My favor will look like getting things done with much greater ease. My favor will look like unexpected, powerful, force multiplying divine connections that bring ideas, work, projects and collaborations of which you’ve never even dreamed.
The Mockingbird Militants & Paid Warfare Associates Will Be Silenced
Lord, protect me from this evil one! Rescue me from these violent schemes! He concocts his secret strategy to divide and harm others, stirring up trouble one against another. They are known for their sharp rhetoric of poisonous, hateful words. Pause in his presence
Psalms 140:1-3 TPT
A philosopher’s point will be made, and you will be stunned to see how discourse and debate — honest debate — surrounds it. You will be stunned to hear that the racket makers and bludgeoners of narrative warfare are silent. You will be stunned at the peace of the day, and you will recognize that the mockingbirds and paid warfare associates have been silenced. It will be that those who have lived in the midst of the battlefield will be stunned and breathe a deep sigh of relief as they relish in the quiet, in the peace. They may not feel 100% secure that this is a lasting peace, a lasting silence. They may not be convinced that the gremlins haven’t been reproducing in the midst of the silence. But they will know that the Hand of God commanded and brought forth this quiet.
My heart, O God, is quiet and confident. Now I can sing with passion your wonderful praises! Awake, O my soul, with the music of his splendor-song! Arise, my soul, and sing his praises! My worship will awaken the dawn, greeting the daybreak with my songs of praise! Wherever I go, I will thank you, my God. Among all the nations they will hear my praise songs to you.
Psalms 57:7-9 TPT
I Am silencing the mockingbird, and I Am shutting the mouths of the narrative warfare armies. The battalions will be closed down, and the rank and file will move out — not to disperse, not to regroup and not to come onto the scene again. They will simply retain their formation and move out from the scene. Enjoy the peace. Enjoy the rest, and relish it with thanksgiving. It’s a foretaste of what’s yet to come.
How to Respond
- Worship the Lord and invite Him to hover and to sing favor over our lives.
- Pray, Holy Spirit come. Bring Your peace. Bring Your favor. Silence the enemy, and allow us to experience the quiet and the serenity of freedom from narrative warfare and mockingbird militants. Help me to be a carrier of Your perfect peace who spreads this sense of great ease everywhere I go. Help me to recognize Your Hand at work and not be anxiously looking around expecting the other shoe to drop.
- Declare, So trust in the Lord, all his people. For he is the only true hero, the wraparound God who is our shield! You, his priests, trust in the Lord. For he is the only true hero, God-wrapped-around-us as our shield. Yes, all his lovers who bow before him, trust in the Lord. For he is our only true hero, God-wrapped-around-us as our shield. The Lord will never forget us in our need; he will bless us indeed! He will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron, his priest.
—Psalms 115:9-12 TPT - Decree, The Lord is faithful, and He is hovering over His lovers right now. He is singing songs of His favor, and He is mowing down the difficulties that the enemy has sent to beset us. He is smoothing our paths and connecting us with people who will be force multipliers and who will become dearly loved friends. He will silence the mockers and shut down the narrative warfare, ushering in a peace and quiet that we can’t even remotely fathom. Great is His faithfulness.
