I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Righteousness is bubbling like a fine froth. A crossroads is here. Will you go straight? Or veer off and go a different way? Challenges have presented themselves on your road. Will you stick with the path? Or go a new way? The path I have for you is unmarked. Its glory is in its humility. Profound peace is here for the one who treads it. Glistening threads of enlightenment and mercy will light your path if you choose this new way.
“But we are certainly not those who are held back by fear and perish; we are among those who have faith and experience true life!”

A turn is being offered off of the monotonous road you have known. Humility is strength here. Peace is a virtue here. Truth is abundantly spoken here. Enlightenment and mercy light the way, while hope knotted up with faith in your heart drives you forward here. My offer is here to take this new road, to veer off the path you have known and to experience the change you have desired. Seek My heart first. Take My outstretched hand, and make this right turn into all that I have for you. The new path being offered is beautiful, and the beauty I have placed in you and on you will shine brighter here, will glow with health and abundant life here. The change on offer is for you.
‘I hear the Lord saying, “I will stay close to you, instructing and guiding you along the pathway for your life. I will advise you along the way and lead you forth with my eyes as your guide. So don’t make it difficult; don’t be stubborn when I take you where you’ve not been before. Don’t make me tug you and pull you along. Just come with me!”’
Psalms 32:8-9
I make all things new, and this new path can be your new way forward. It’s a distinct turn from where you are now, so you won’t be able to toggle back and forth from the old path to the new way. You must decide to leave the old path behind and commit fully to this new path that I’m guiding you to join, that I’m encouraging you to join. It’s a path on which you will find My rhythms of grace. Instead of striving you will find grace. Instead of straining you will find joy. I’ve positioned you to go this new way. Will you have the courage to make the turn?
How to Respond
- Pray, Holy Spirit thank You for guiding me so gently and carefully. Thank You for positioning me to do things differently and to take a new path than the one that I have come to know so well. Help me to release my need for control and my desire for the familiar, so I can step fully committed into this new way You have made for me to go.
- Declare, “Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on him to guide you, and he will lead you in every decision you make. Become intimate with him in whatever you do, and he will lead you wherever you go. Don’t think for a moment that you know it all, for wisdom comes when you adore him with undivided devotion and avoid everything that’s wrong. Then you will find the healing refreshment your body and spirit long for.”
Proverbs 3:5-8 TPT - Decree, I choose the new way that the Lord is offering me. I will not be stuck in complacency, fear, familiarity or routine. I will shake things up and take the Lord’s hand onto a new unmarked path of humility, grace, truth and joy. I will walk forward on this new path whose light is His enlightenment and mercy.
