“Rise up in splendor and be radiant, for your light has dawned, and Yahweh’s glory now streams from you! Look carefully! Darkness blankets the earth, and thick clouds covers the nations, but Yahweh arises upon you and the brightness of his glory appears over you!”

I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Purity in the atmosphere. Conditions are changing. Storm clouds are rolling in, but the darkness does not control them. The darkness does not control anything. Let your light, the light of My love, the light of My Presence inside of you shine forth, shine out and flood the scene. Darkness will come in. Storm clouds are rapidly approaching. But it’s My Presence inside of you that will be your anchor and your guide. Trust in Me. You have nothing to fear. I control the wind and the waves. Do they not obey Me? Then whom or what shall you fear?
“A day is coming when this song will be sung in the land of Judah: “The city is a stronghold for us! The Lord’s salvation, like inner and outer walls, makes it secure. Open the gates and let a righteous, faith-filled people enter in. Perfect, absolute peace surrounds those whose imaginations are consumed with you; they confidently trust in you.”

Darkness is rapidly approaching. Do not give in to fear. Do not back up or shy away. I’m instructing you now, in advance, so you will know when the time comes. You must rise and shine. You must light the path and lead the way with My Presence and My love guiding you forth, guiding you forward. Darkness is determined and appointed, but not forever. Simply for a time. But you can and are more than able to remain in My perfect peace. The winds and the rain will kick up, but they will not blow you away. They will not knock you off of your footing. Your feet are settled on solid ground. The weightiness of My Presence inside of you is an anchor, a sure and trusty anchor in the storm. The wind and waves obey Me. Remember that. They will obey My voice, My commands that rise up from inside of you too. Don’t forget that. I have given you all authority.
“Now, this is what Yahweh says: “Listen, Jacob, to the One who created you, Israel, to the one who shaped who you are. Do not fear, for I, your Kinsman-Redeemer, will rescue you. I have called you by name, and you are mine. When you pass through the deep, stormy sea, you can count on me to be there with you. When you pass through raging rivers, you will not drown. When you walk through persecution like fiery flames, you will not be burned; the flames will not harm you,”

Ride out the storm, but do more than ride out the storm. This is not the way you rode out storms as a child. You are the adult now. You retain the watch. You keep watch. Remain vigilant. Do the work that I’ve called you to do in the storm. It may look different from the work you do when the sun is shining. Keep that in mind. Feed those in your care. And above all, wear peace, carry peace, be at perfect peace and shine. I will see you through. Dark days are just ahead, but I will see you through. And I will enable you and empower you to shine in ways you could have never shone in the daylight.
Laughter is a great weapon. Joy overflowing is unassailable. Songs of worship, praise and thanksgiving will lift the veil of heaviness. And your powerful Heaven-aligned decrees will help the storm clouds to pass through much quicker. You have a part to play. There is much work and war to be conducted in the storm. But your main job, your main charge is to be at perfect peace, to carry weighty peace and to shine a light for all to see.
How to Respond
- Pray, Lord help me to be positioned and prepared for the coming storm. Help me to keep my eyes and heart so locked on You that I carry the weighty, tangible peace of Your Presence. Lord, I want to shine, serve, keep watch, work and war just as You instruct me to do. Help me to keep my wits about me. Help me to not get distracted or intimidated by the wind and the waves. I know the One who created all things, and You live inside of me. Help me to tap into my authority to legislate in alignment with Heaven. Help me to do well as I keep many calm, safe and fed during this storm.

— Proverbs 18:10 TPT - Decree, I will rise and shine as the Lord has commanded. Darkness, storm clouds, winds and waves will not cause me to back up or to get into fear. I will keep watch. I will work. I will war, and I will do it in all joy. The song of the Lord will come forth from me continually, and His light inside of me will never burn out. I will be a carrier of His perfect peace, and I will guide the way for many.
