Starving, thirsting, staggering, we became desperate and filled with despair. Then we cried out, “Lord, help us! Rescue us!” And he did! He led us out by the right way until we reached a suitable city to dwell in.
Psalms 107:5-7 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Grace will bring you through the tunnel of despair. Where you have mourned losses of time, resources, position and authority, I Am bringing them back three-fold. Where it has felt like the tide has ever been against you, you will begin to ride the wave. It is time to soar above it. It’s time to no longer be subject to the waves and the waters but to rise above them and ride them your way. Where rugs have been pulled out from under you and obstacles have been put in your path to cause you to stumble, trip and fall, I Am realigning your footing and your resourcing; and your foundation, your footing and your path will be secure.
Could there be any other god like Yahweh? For there is not a more secure foundation than you. God, you have wrapped me in power and made my way perfect. Through you I ascend to the highest peaks to stand strong and secure in you. You’ve trained me with the weapons of warfare-worship; my arms can bend a bow of bronze.
Psalms 18:31-34 TPT
Not everything will follow you. Some things will get left behind. Some will choose not to continue on this path with you. But that’s okay. This is the path I have for you. It’s not for everyone. Choices will come that will seem like floodwaters filled with options. You will be terrified by this unless you loosen your grip, determine to float effortlessly in those waters and look up to Me for answers. I will tell you which to grab — which take hold of, and which to leave. In your eyes they will all look the same. So looking to Me, leaning on Me will be crucial. Then as the floodwaters recede, you will see how those other choices that I did not direct you to grab lay lifeless and fruitless on the ground.
This is a time to live in anticipation. This is a time to move forward boldly but with caution. You are treading into new territory, and the giants are vicious. Carry a big stick, and be certain you hear My voice clearly as you move. This new territory is infested with giants and swamp creatures.
“Now you understand that I have imparted to you my authority to trample over his kingdom. You will trample upon every demon before you and overcome every power Satan possesses. Absolutely nothing will harm you as you walk in this authority. However, your real source of joy isn’t merely that these spirits submit to your authority, but that your names are written in the journals of heaven and that you belong to God’s kingdom. This is the true source of your authority.”
Luke 10:19-20 TPT
Don’t move forward in fear. Move forward in confident assurance in Me. Move forward in full joy and lightheartedness. Just be on red alert. Keep your discernment high and your ears and spirit perked up to hear from Me. I will be your peace. And I will lead you from strength to strength and victory to victory. Monsters and vermin will be on your path, but I’ve given you the power and authority to crush them all. Remember, this is a time of war. And the warriors who remain will taste the victory.
How to Respond
- Pray, Holy Spirit help me. I don’t want to move forward or make any choices without hearing from You. Help me to be as innocent as a dove and as cunning as a serpent. Thank You for the warning that we are moving into dangerous territory. Show me how to move successfully in this place. And thank You for Your promise for restoration and three-fold recompense of all that I have lost.
- Declare, I’m so happy when I think of you, because everyone knows the testimony of your deep commitment of faith. So I want you to become scholars of all that is good and beautiful, and stay pure and innocent when it comes to evil. And the God of peace will swiftly pound Satan to a pulp under your feet! And the wonderful favor of our Lord Jesus will surround you.
— Romans 16:19-20 TPT - Decree, The Lord’s grace is causing me to exit the tunnel of despair. He is moving me into restoration, three-fold recompense and the next phase of war. The place He is bringing me will require me to totally depend upon Him for navigation, choices and battle plans. But as I remain in Him and as I remain faithful and obedient, I will taste many victories.
