And the Scriptures agree, for it is written: There is no one who always does what is right, no, not even one! There is no one with true spiritual insight, and there is no one who seeks after God alone. All have deliberately wandered from God’s ways. All have become depraved and unfit. Kindness has disappeared from them all, not even one is good. Their words release a stench, like the smell of death—foul and filthy! Deceitful lies roll off their tongues. The venom of a viper drips from their lips. Bitter profanity flows from their mouths, only meant to cut and harm. They are infatuated with violence and murder. They release ruin and misery wherever they go. They never experience the path of peace. They shut their eyes to the awe-inspiring God! Now, we realize that everything the law says is addressed to those who are under its authority. This is for two reasons: So that every excuse will be silenced, with no boasting of innocence. And so that the entire world will be held accountable to God’s standards.
Romans 3:10-19 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
I have determined outcomes appointed ahead. Transformation, holiness, grief and grace. Grace for transformation is here. Public transformation — transformation born out of grief, regret and deep recognition of and sorrow about wrongs committed and wrongs permitted.
Tolerance as you know it today will become a byword once again. I Am raising up a people from the ashes who will no longer view this tolerance as a virtue but as a sign of moral decay and weakness. This kind of tolerance will be seen as the first chink in the armor that leads to a complete overthrow of society, of a nation, of morals and principles. Intolerance will be revered as hatred for what is evil and a spine of steel that disallows it from society and from law. Moral teachings are fine and good. But where are the teachings on backbone, courage and a willingness to fight to preserve innocence, to preserve culture, to preserve family and territorial boundaries?
Everything hidden and covered up will soon be exposed. For the facade is falling down, and nothing will be kept secret for long.
Luke 12:2 TPT
This is a time where views, perceptions and avowed values will swing wildly in just one day. They will go from overt and tacit support for evil to absolute distress, despair and mourning over what evil those values have birthed, permitted and caused to flourish. Darkness had no deterrent in such a permissive and unrestrained atmosphere. It was and has been an atmosphere of near total rebellion against God and natural law. But the pendulum is swinging. The curtain is being pulled back. And the consequences, the fallout, the reality of what this wicked mindset of overt perversion and permissiveness has done will cause many to fall to their knees, to weep and to tremble. An accounting and revealing of evil must come forth if the people are to choose another way. To truly see the evil will give each one the overt choice to determine who they will serve — to choose whether they will take My outstretched hand in recognition that I Am the way, the truth and the life.
Do the riches of his extraordinary kindness make you take him for granted and despise him? Haven’t you experienced how kind and understanding he has been to you? Don’t mistake his tolerance for acceptance. Do you realize that all the wealth of his extravagant kindness is meant to melt your heart and lead you into repentance?
Romans 2:4 TPT
A reckoning is coming, and it is appointed. It will fall upon you like a ton of bricks. And it will seem as though the entire racing, lightning speed world screeches to a halt in an instant. Watch what I won’t do. It’s My kindness to show this, because My people — even right now — are perishing for lack of knowledge. It is this kindness of great import, to reveal every kind of wickedness that rebellion and tolerance in this nation has permitted — it is that very kindness that will lead many to the about face of repentance. Holy is the Word of the Lord.
How to Respond
- Come before the Lord in reverence and in awe. Ask Him to search your heart for any areas where you have chosen tolerance over truth.
- Pray, Lord, I repent for caring more about what people think or how they feel than what Your Word clearly teaches. Forgive me. Forgive us Lord. Thank You for Your appointed time to reveal all that permissiveness and tolerance and the sanctioning of evil has wrought. No cleansing or repentance can come without that. Help us as we grapple with the very difficult truths that You bring forward. Help us to be ones who vigorously defend the truth and Your way Lord. Help us to forsake all evil. Lead us into national repentance and national, public transformation for good.
- Declare, for we all have sinned and are in need of the glory of God. Yet through his powerful declaration of acquittal, God freely gives away his righteousness. His gift of love and favor now cascades over us, all because Jesus, the Anointed One, has liberated us from the guilt, punishment, and power of sin!
— Romans 3:23-24 TPT - Decree, The Lord is faithful, trustworthy and true. It’s His kindness that leads us to repentance, and His kindness is coming to interrupt the works of evil that we have allowed to flourish by our overt sanctioning or by our apathy, tolerance and fear of man. We are coming into a time of national reckoning, and in the midst of it, we will find God’s great grace for our transformation — individually and nationally.
