Today’s Reading:
Philippians 4
Ephesians 3
Be cheerful with joyous celebration in every season of life. Let your joy overflow! And let gentleness be seen in every relationship, for our Lord is ever near.
Philippians 4:4-5 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Let your heart bubble up with gratitude to Your Father in Heaven. Let your words and your life be full of grace and love; and let it exhibit the profound gratitude you live in. Let those who observe you see that you are not like the ones of the world — frustrated, hurried, worried, frazzled and stressed. But you are one who abides in the shadow of the Almighty and lives and perfect peace, in thanksgiving. And you walk with the grace and peace that marks the saints who are rooted in Christ and whose total source for life is Christ Jesus Himself.
And I pray that he would unveil within you the unlimited riches of his glory and favor until supernatural strength floods your innermost being with his divine might and explosive power. Then, by constantly using your faith, the life of Christ will be released deep inside you, and the resting place of his love will become the very source and root of your life. Then you will be empowered to discover what every holy one experiences—the great magnitude of the astonishing love of Christ in all its dimensions. How deeply intimate and far-reaching is his love! How enduring and inclusive it is! Endless love beyond measurement that transcends our understanding—this extravagant love pours into you until you are filled to overflowing with the fullness of God! Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you.
Ephesians 3:16-20 TPT
I’m not calling you to do wonders. As you live this way, wonders will be the supernatural outflow from My grace in your life. The supernatural flows from communion with the King of Shining Glory. The supernatural flows not by might, nor by power but by My Spirit — by a deep, abiding connection to the Lord God Almighty. Let your prayer be a meditation. Let your life be a song. You should look different. Your heart, your words, your cadence and your priorities should all look different from those around you. You are to BE a sign and a wonder — because the world is full of chaos, noise and trouble. But you are anointed by the love and commissioning of King Jesus. You have the authority and grace to walk in perfect peace and to let your life be an example, a challenge and a beautiful beckoning call for all to come and rest in Me.
Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell him every detail of your life, then God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding, will guard your heart and mind through Jesus Christ.
Philippians 4:6-7 TPT
Don’t partner with worry. Don’t partner with fear, anxiety, stress, frustration or regret. I Am your daily bread, every day. I am the air you breathe, every moment, and I will supply more than you need. I will supply you with an abundance of fruit and strength according to My riches in glory.
How to Respond
- Praise the Lord. Stir up thanksgiving in your heart. Find a way to make that an ongoing reality in your life rather than an afterthought or an occasional topic of conversation.
- Pray, Lord, You are more than worthy of my praise, of my thankfulness and of my love. Help me to walk as Jesus did — unbothered, not stressed but in perfect peace and communion with You Lord. Jesus, You said that when we are united as one with You, You become the very source of our life and fruitfulness. Help me to live in that reality. Help me to shift to make that the way I live my life.
- Declare, Keep your thoughts continually fixed on all that is authentic and real, honorable and admirable, beautiful and respectful, pure and holy, merciful and kind. And fasten your thoughts on every glorious work of God, praising him always. Put into practice the example of all that you have heard from me or seen in my life and the God of peace will be with you in all things.
— Philippians 4:8-9 TPT - Decree, Great is the Lord, and worthy of all glory, honor and praise. He is the Creator of the Universe, the God of Heaven and Earth. I will praise Him. He saved me. He changed me. He picked me up out of the miry clay and has made me into something beautiful and acceptable to Him. He has clothed me robes of royalty and righteousness. He has anointed and commissioned me as a king and priest into His family and His service. I will live my life differently. I will return to the root source of my life — King Jesus — and I will live my life from the overflow of communion with Him. I will not partner with stress, worry, fear, anxiety, busyness or regret. I will be a sign and wonder of the peace that passes all understanding and of the grace, joy and thanksgiving that comes from truly knowing and being one with my King.
