Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 26
Micah 6
Psalm 28
“The path of the righteous is smooth and level; God, the Just One, you make a clear path for them. Yes, we will follow your ways, Lord Yahweh, and entwine our hearts with yours, for the fame of your name is all that we desire. At night I yearn for you with all my heart; in the morning my spirit reaches out to you. When you display your judgments on the earth, people learn the ways of righteousness.”
Isaiah 26:7-9 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Grace is heavy and thick in the atmosphere — for change that brings life more abundant. Those thick, dark clouds of the incoming storm are ripe and filled to the brim with grace and hope for those who will receive them. My judgement does not just touch the wicked. It’s of great benefit to the innocent, to the wanderers, to the maligned, wronged and the lost alike.
“But when mercy is shown to scoundrels, they still aren’t able to learn righteousness. Even in a land of integrity, they still do wrong, for they ignore the great majesty of the Lord Yahweh. Lord Yahweh, you lift your mighty hand, but they do not see it. Let them witness how much you love your people and be ashamed. Let the fire reserved for your enemies consume them.”
Isaiah 26:10-11 TPT
The wicked don’t learn from righteous judgements. But the others do. The others absolutely do. Don’t get caught up so much in the news and the reports, the seeming unsettledness and chaos that ensues from My hammer of justice, judgement and truth coming down in the Earth realm. Look for the opportunities. Look for the grace. Look for how you can minister, give a hand and lift a head with a word of encouragement. We are heading into dark and uncertain times. But your rock remains firm. Your countenance does not need to reflect the storm. It should and must reflect the light that lives with you. Be the light. Be a beacon and an outpost of hope. Grant justice to those for whom it is in your power to do so.
“He has told you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you But to do justice, to love kindness, And to walk humbly with your God?”
Micah 6:8 NASB1995
Ensure that Your life is in proper order, your home is in proper order, because wave after wave of judgement is coming. And you are to be like the Coast Guard. You should not need to be worried about your own affairs, your own heart or your own life in this time. That should all be settled and squared before the storm breaks loose. Get your house and heart in order. The storm is poised to break loose.
How to Respond
- Pray, Lord I love You. All my life is for You. Show me the loose ends I need to tie up. Show me the places that are yet to be fully squared, so I can go into the storm prepared and unconcerned about my own life’s affairs. Thank You for positioning me and purposing me for such a time as this.
- Declare, “Yahweh is my strength and my wraparound shield. When I fully trust in you, help is on the way. I jump for joy and burst forth with ecstatic, passionate praise! I will sing songs of what you mean to me! You will be the inner strength of all your people, Yahweh, the mighty protector of all, and the saving strength for all your anointed ones. Save your people whom you love, and bless your chosen ones. Be our shepherd leading us forward, forever carrying us in your arms!”
Psalms 28:7-9 TPT - Decree, The storm of the Lord’s judgement is very near. I will not fear. I will not worry. I will have my heart, my life and my affairs in order, so I can be ready and positioned to rescue the perishing, to be a light and a hope and comfort to those in need. I will shine like my Savior and be His hands and feet.
