Today’s Reading:
Psalm 119
“For even if the princes and my leaders choose to criticize me, I will continue to serve you and walk in your plans for my life. Your commandments are my counselors; your Word is my light and delight!”
Psalms 119:23-24 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God of All Truth say,
Truth magnified in the heart of man. Spiritual boundaries have been torn to shreds, and what is left are sheep with a broken down fence. The sheepfold has been rendered boundary-less and protection-less, and it’s made My sheep easy targets. It’s made it easy for them to wander astray. It’s made it easy for them to confuse right and wrong. Who is to blame? False teachers of the shepherds. They created a pipeline of badly, poorly, intentionally mis-instructed shepherds. Some of those shepherds who were wrongly informed and wrongly taught became teachers. And it mushroomed into the situation we have now — of shepherds being afraid to mention to the sheep that boundaries do exist. It’s bizarre and upside down. But that’s where we are.
“The ungodly have done their best to throw me off track, but I’ll not deviate from what you’ve told me to do. Everything you speak to me is like joyous treasure, filling my life with gladness. I have determined in my heart to obey whatever you say, fully and forever!”

But I Am raising up firebrands who love My Word — many have shunned the halls of higher education in favor of the wilderness, in favor of the leading by My Spirit. And these young and not so young firebrands are rising up. They have been smoldering where they are, but their message is one of pure fire. They understand the truth, and it will connect to hearts directly. They don’t fear man, institutions or conventional wisdom. They fear the Lord alone, and that makes them ones who terrify the forces of darkness. Did you know some forces of darkness, some of the hands and feet of darkness are dressed up as lukewarm Christianity? Apathy, inaction, no boundaries and no responsibility — these are the tools of the enemy himself. Don’t mistake them for being misled. They are tools of the devil himself.
“Lord, you reject those who reject your laws, for they fool no one but themselves! The wicked are thrown away, discarded and valueless. That’s why I will keep loving all of your laws! My body trembles in holy awe of you, leaving me speechless, for I’m frightened of your righteous judgments.”
Psalms 119:118-120 TPT
Where there is fire in the offering, in the message, My power will show up. Not the fire of a show, but the fire of My Word and My Spirit. The heart of man knows it. This is not about a spectacle of smoke and light and glitter. This is about Christ and Him crucified. This is about the security and fearlessness that is is incumbent upon you to take on in the face, in the reality of the resurrection. Lukewarm Christianity is being burned up and judged right now — not because they didn’t want Me enough, not because they were misled. But because they were a trap of religion set by the enemy himself. And I Am judging it directly. Who can withstand this all consuming fire? Things are changing in the world that bears My Name. It’s time for truth. For power. For fire and for action. The dross, the fake, the intentionally weak and milk toast will be burnt up and swept away.
How to Respond
- Pray, Lord, make it clear to my heart directly which shepherds I can trust, because they have Your heart. And make it clear which ones I need to remove from positions of influence and authority in my life because they do not. Thank You for sifting and judging the shepherds Lord. It is necessary cleansing before the harvest.
- Declare, “Place your hands of strength and favor upon me, for I’ve made my choice to follow your ways.”
Psalms 119:173 TPT - Decree, I will harken to the voice of the Lord. His is the voice of truth. I will not be swayed by personality, presentation or production. I will follow the voice of my True Shepherd, King Jesus. The Lord is judging the shepherds and instructors who have been leading the sheep astray. He is burning up the leaven of lukewarm Christianity. And the fiery ones He has been forming and refining in the wilderness will rise up to take their place.
