Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 59
Psalm 8
“Justice is turned back, And righteousness stands far away; For truth has stumbled in the street, And uprightness cannot enter. Yes, truth is lacking; And he who turns aside from evil makes himself a prey. Now the Lord saw, And it was displeasing in His sight that there was no justice.”
Isaiah 59:14-15 NASB1995
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
A storm is swirling. It is gaining speed and gaining ground. Distribution channels are open, but the stalls and the barns are empty. They want you to have nothing and be happy. But I have purposed for you to have life and life more abundantly. Delight yourself in Me. Stir up your affection for Me. Let your concern and worry be diminished and subside entirely in light of the overwhelming goodness of My Presence and the tangible reality of My grace. Stress and worry will bow to My perfect peace, will dissipate completely in the presence of My perfect peace that passes all understanding.
“What is man that You take thought of him, And the son of man that You care for him? Yet You have made him a little lower than God, And You crown him with glory and majesty!”
Psalms 8:4-5 NASB1995
You are My child whom I dearly love. I never stop thinking of you. My thoughts toward you are more than the grains of sand on the shore. Peace be upon you and your household, for the storm is upon us. But I have give you everything you need to maintain, to rest in, to float on My perfect peace in the storm. You will see a crescendo in the next few days and the weeks that follow, and then when it reaches its peak, the dam will break. And what had been held back all this time by secrecy, by lies, by plastered over truth will be released and unleashed in such a way that it will engulf the world. In a very real way, the second flood for you who live in the days like Noah, will be the flood of information and the truth that sets men free. Men and women will be released from prisons — both literal and figurative as part of this flood. And many more will be swept up for justice and judgement.
“And He saw that there was no man, And was astonished that there was no one to intercede; Then His own arm brought salvation to Him, And His righteousness upheld Him. He put on righteousness like a breastplate, And a helmet of salvation on His head; And He put on garments of vengeance for clothing And wrapped Himself with zeal as a mantle. According to their deeds, so He will repay, Wrath to His adversaries, recompense to His enemies; To the coastlands He will make recompense. So they will fear the name of the Lord from the west And His glory from the rising of the sun, For He will come like a rushing stream Which the wind of the Lord drives.”
Isaiah 59:16-19 NASB1995
Fear not the day of the great flood. My coming flood, the second flood will not be with water, just as I have promised. It will be with information. And its cleansing work will be just as thorough as the flood from which I spared Noah and his family. In this flood, My grace, my saving grace is a life boat. The truth is a life boat. My love and the companionship of My Presence, Holy Spirit is a life boat. So just hold on. Hold on.
How to Respond
- Stir up love and affection for the Lord. Recount His goodness continually.
- Pray, Lord thank You that You are moving to destroy the reign of wickedness and darkness in the Earth. Thank You that Your plans for us are for our good, to bring us a future and a hope. Thank You that You are a God of Covenant promise, and this coming flood will not destroy us, but it will sweep up our enemies and all those who hate You.
- Declare, “A Redeemer will come to Zion, And to those who turn from transgression in Jacob,” declares the Lord.”
Isaiah 59:20 NASB1995 - Decree, The Lord’s ways and timing are perfect. The storm that has been long spoken of is now stirring, and gaining speed. We will watch and see it crescendo in the coming days and weeks, and then the dam of information will burst — pouring forth truth that exonerates and condemns. This is the storm that brings forth a flood of epic proportions, and it cannot be stopped. But the lovers of the Lord will be kept safely afloat — by His love, His grace, His Presence and by the truth.
