Today’s Reading:
Luke 19
Isaiah 60
Isaiah 54
“‘I tell you that to everyone who has, more shall be given, but from the one who does not have, even what he does have shall be taken away.”
Luke 19:26 NASB1995
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Treasures untold await you, await those with a willing heart. Good governance starts at home. Govern yourself well. Then I will trust you with a city, then cities and a nation.
“Arise, shine; for your light has come, And the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. For behold, darkness will cover the earth And deep darkness the peoples; But the Lord will rise upon you And His glory will appear upon you. Nations will come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising.”
Isaiah 60:1-3 NASB1995
It’s time to fly, and it’s time to stand on your own two feet again. Step out on the water. It may be difficult to swim, but with your gaze upon Me, you can rise above the wind and the waves, and you can walk on the impossible. You can grasp the impossible in your hand. Green grass grows, and people follow it. People want to be where the grass is greener. Why can’t that be your side? Why can’t that be where you are? Your words? Your name? Why can’t they be associated with the side that is most attractive to stand on? They can. If you shine. Arise and shine, and I’ll supply the water. Watch how the grass becomes greener and greener beneath your feet. Those who love the Lord will flock to you. Those who love the truth will come to you, and you will suddenly realize you need a bigger footprint, so you can have more grass for people to stand on.
“Enlarge the place of your tent; Stretch out the curtains of your dwellings, spare not; Lengthen your cords And strengthen your pegs. For you will spread abroad to the right and to the left. And your descendants will possess nations And will resettle the desolate cities. “Fear not, for you will not be put to shame; And do not feel humiliated, for you will not be disgraced; But you will forget the shame of your youth, And the reproach of your widowhood you will remember no more.”
Isaiah 54:2-4 NASB1995
I’m in expansion mode. You know My Kingdom is alway expanding. And now I’m teaching you to take territory. You’ll not only stake the claim for the place you’re in. But you will spread out to the right and the left. This is a very productive season. This is a very bountiful season. Follow My ways. Follow My lead. Follow My voice. And I will get you there. Where you have felt left behind, I will push you forward. I will teach you how to grow, build and expand. That’s what this season is about. Expansion. I’ve put expansion in your heart. Now it’s time to learn how to fill it and manage it well.
How to Respond
- Pray, Lord, give me eyes to see and ears to hear Your prompting and voice of instruction in this new season. Help me to be diligent in building the vision You’ve given me. Help me to be willing to stretch and get uncomfortable — even to have great faith as You call me into new places and new assignments that are part of achieving what it is You’ve put in my heart.
- Declare, “Whereas you have been forsaken and hated With no one passing through, I will make you an everlasting pride, A joy from generation to generation. You will also suck the milk of nations And suck the breast of kings; Then you will know that I, the Lord, am your Savior And your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.”
Isaiah 60:15-16 NASB1995 - Decree, Great grace is here for expansion. It takes faith, trust, obedience and diligence. I will pursue the Lord and move in quick, full obedience to Him. I will experience fulfillment as I obey His voice of instruction and pursue the vision He has given me. I will arise and shine, and He will provide the water. With my eyes on the Lord I will tread upon the impossible, and I will hold the impossible in my hand.
