Today’s Reading:
Proverbs 3
Psalm 59
Psalm 71
Psalm 78
Psalm 91
“Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on him to guide you, and he will lead you in every decision you make. Become intimate with him in whatever you do, and he will lead you wherever you go.”
Proverbs 3:5-6 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
This is the joy comes in the morning phase. This is the celebrate phase. Amidst darkness you will celebrate. Amidst turmoil you will rejoice. The God of the Universe holds the worlds — the nations, the kings, the peoples and their timing in His hands. Whom or what shall you fear?
Then I saw a vision of something rising over America from the southwest — it was from the direction of Latin America or the Gulf of America. It looked like a dark triangular steel-like object.
“You will sleep like a baby, safe and sound— your rest will be sweet and secure. You will not be subject to terror, for it will not terrify you. Nor will the disrespectful be able to push you aside, because God is your confidence in times of crisis, keeping your heart at rest in every situation.”
Proverbs 3:24-26 TPT
A threat will arise from the south. Remember no weapon formed against you shall prosper. I have created the destroyer for destroying but when it is done destroying, when the time for destroying is done, I will destroy it, and I will turn it for good. The destroyer from the south will look very strong, very menacing and very capable. It will leave a shadow over the southern part of the nation for days…even weeks. It lingers. It threatens. And then I will change their mind. I will literally turn the heart of the king who sent it as easily as I change the course of a channel of water, and not a shot will need to be fired.
“No matter what, I’ll trust in you to help me. Nothing will stop me from praising you to magnify your glory! I couldn’t begin to count the times you’ve been there for me. With the skill of a poet I’ll never run out of things to say about how you faithfully kept me from danger. I will come forth in your mighty strength, O my Lord God. I’ll tell everyone that you alone are the perfect one. From my childhood you’ve been my teacher, and I’m still telling everyone of your miracle-wonders!”
Psalms 71:14-17 TPT
Don’t lose hope. Don’t despair. We are heading into dark days, to oppressive days, to days where spiritual forces of darkness will try to overtake your land. But they will not prevail. So praise. Worship. Delight yourself in Me. And even celebrate the great outcome, the final victory when the shadow hangs over you at its darkest. I’m calling you to lead by example in the darkness that will come. I’m calling you to be unreasonably joyful, unreasonably hopeful, impossible to ignore in your contrarian attitude in the face of sure destruction.
“Then, like a shepherd leading his sheep, God led his people out of tyranny, guiding them through the wilderness like a flock. Safely and carefully God led them out, with nothing to fear. But their enemies he led into the sea. He took care of them there once and for all! Eventually God brought his people to the Holy Land, to a land of hills that he had prepared for them.”
Psalms 78:52-54 TPT
Lift the atmosphere. Lift the darkness with your praises. I will accomplish MUCH in this nation in the darkness. In the shadow of the valley of death, I will do My best work. So prepare yourself. Steel yourself. Resolve to praise. Steel your resolve to reject fear at every turn. Worship in such a way that it sticks a finger in the eye of the enemy. This is the moment and the deep darkness amidst which I have called you to rise and shine. It won’t be easy, but you are empowered by My grace. Set your plans in motion. Prepare as I instruct your heart. And settle in and worship. I will be with you. I will strengthen you and encourage you. And I will be Your great feast and hero in this time of trouble. I will see you through. Your job is to never give up hope. Never give into doubt. Never agree with fear. And praise without ceasing.
How to Respond
- Pray, Holy Spirit You have been preparing us for a time of greater shaking. Help me to have every aspect of my life in order. Help me to be so strong and so secure in You that I can worship and praise and live in thanksgiving without ceasing. I want to be unreasonably joyful as You have instructed. Help me to be a light and a comfort to those who need it Lord. Help me to point many in how to secure themselves in You.
- Declare, “But as for me, your strength shall be my song of joy. At each and every sunrise, my lyrics of your love will fill the air! For you have been my glory-fortress, a stronghold in my day of distress. O my strength, I sing with joy your praises. O my stronghold, I sing with joy your song! O my Savior, I sing with joy the lyrics of your faithful love for me!”
— Psalms 59:16-17 TPT - Decree, The Lord is instructing me to rise and shine in the midst of deep darkness. I will strengthen myself in His love. I will not give way to fear, doubt or dismay. I will be found singing songs of highest praise to the God of the highest place. I will be a contrarian overflowing with joy and carrying His great hope — assured of the Lord’s salvation — come what may. Thank You for doing great work in darkness Lord. And thank You for preserving, saving and restoring America to her great covenantal foundations.
- Encourage yourself with the regular reading aloud of Psalm 91.
