“Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and he is the one whom Timothy, Silas, and I have preached to you—and he has never been both a “yes” and a “no.” He has always been and always will be for us a resounding “YES!” For all of God’s promises find their “yes” of fulfillment in him. And as his “yes” and our “amen” ascend to God, we bring him glory!”

I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
I Am absolutely dependable. My love is unfailing. My Word stands firm forever, and all of My promises are true. All of My promises are yes and amen. Are you giving your amen to My promises? Or are you using wishy washy language and flip-flopping in your mind over whether I can come through? Whether I want to come through? Whether I will come through? My words and desires are firm and secure. Will you grab hold of them and agree? Or will you untether them from yourself with your faithless words, with doubting words, with words that curse the promise itself? No! May it never be!
“Truly I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven.”

Your job is to build up the promise. Your job is to enable the promise through faith, through knitting the promise to your heart and refusing to be moved. You hold the thread that binds and looses. Are you binding My promises to your heart and life and future? Or are you loosing the promises through carelessness, through attempts to protect yourself from what you believe to be sure disappointment? Are you cutting the thread entirely by denying your attachment to that promise and desire? Hear Me! These promises of Mine are unfailing. My love is unfailing. My Word is unfailing, and My character is unassailable. I Am always true, and I always come through. So put your trust in Me. On that basis, on the basis of My track record, put your trust in Me. And reinforce the thread of the promise with your words, with your song, with your mindset and with your thoughts about what is to come. Because if I have said it, it will come. But I need your agreement.
“When you are half-hearted and wavering it leaves you unstable. Can you really expect to receive anything from the Lord when you’re in that condition?”
James (Jacob) 1:7-8
If you cut off the promise, what can I do? No — bind the promise, sew the promise into your heart. Refuse to be moved. As you do, you will find your once wishy-washy ways become stable. You will find your mind becoming firm in discipline, and you will see every promise come true. I Am not a maybe, sort-of kind of God. My Word stands firm, and I Am true forever. I never fail. So join your amen to My yes. And bind up the promise. Secure the promise and watch it come to pass.
How to Respond
- Ask the Lord to show you where you are unknowingly loosing, fraying or cutting the threads of the promises He’s made you. And make a decision to reverse those words and firm up your mindset.
- Pray, Holy Spirit thank You for leading me into all truth — especially the truth of what is in my own heart and mind. I don’t want to be double-minded or wishy-washy, and I certainly do not want to be tearing the threads of the promises You’ve made. I want to be in agreement with You and Your Word, because You never fail. Help me to change course, to strengthen my mindset, to reinforce the Word of the promises You have made and to experience the fulfillment of every single one.
- Declare, “This I recall to my mind, Therefore I have hope. The Lord’s lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, For His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “Therefore I have hope in Him.”
— Lamentations 3:21-24 NASB1995 - Decree, The promises of the Lord are yes and amen. I will stand firm in what He has spoken, and I will not be moved. I will reinforce the promise. I will stir up my most holy faith, and I will cling tightly to the Lord. I will not tear down or weaken the threads that connect the Lord’s promises to me. No, I will reinforce them by faith, and I will experience the total and complete fulfillment of every single promise He’s made to me.
