Today’s Reading:
2 Corinthians 6
Amos 3
Matthew 24
James 4
John 10
“Don’t continue to team up with unbelievers in mismatched alliances, for what partnership is there between righteousness and rebellion? Who could mingle light with darkness? What harmony can there be between Christ and Satan? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? What friendship does God’s temple have with demons? For indeed, we are the temple of the living God, just as God has said: I will make my home in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they will be my people.”
2 Corinthians 6:14-16 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Great choices will come before you. Choices to falter or to faint. Choices to see the snake just a hand’s breadth away from your right hand and to respond in fear or in righteous anger. Choose to dig deep, and find your strength in Me. Choose to ask and demand what gave the snake the idea he could invade your garden. What gave him the idea that he could find a resting place in your tree? And then unceremoniously put him to death.
“Do two walk together unless they have agreed to do so?”
Amos 3:3 TPT
He is a vagabond among you, in your midst. He has no right of passage, no right of entry. Do not get into agreement with the father of lies. His agreements lead to illness of soul and death. Choose life and life more abundantly. There is witchcraft in your midst. There is witchcraft in your territory. Recognize it for what it is. Do not be enamored by the signs and wonders of the false spirits. These are the same signs and wonders performed by Pharaoh’s sorcerers. Do not agree with their spirit of false alarm. Do not get into fear, and do not partner with or express gratitude for the salvation that came from the source of the problem, the sorcerer himself. I have given you eyes to see. Use them. Get in tune with Me. Get attuned to My Spirit. Sharpen up your senses.
“A thief has only one thing in mind—he wants to steal, slaughter, and destroy. But I have come to give you everything in abundance, more than you expect —life in its fullness until you overflow!”
John 10:10 TPT
This is a time that is steeped in darkness; and witchcraft and sorcery are extremely pervasive. You will see it on TV as natural disasters and man-made tragedies. Beware of the heroes who get brought forward. They are wolves in sheep’s clothing. They are the witches and sorcerers themselves.
Beware of the witchcraft of hyper-spirituality. It masquerades as faithful and devoted, but its fruit is laziness and poverty that seeks to tap into your pocketbook. Beware of that false spirit. It is participating in witchcraft. It is rebelling against My order.
And beware of the spirit of witchcraft that gathers and conjures near the flow of My Spirit. I Am the Source of Living Water. But this spirit of witchcraft, this participation in and celebration of witchcraft near My flow is to bring confusion, delay and to draw those seeking the True Source of Life and hope off-course — to cause them to stumble —to inherit the counterfeit instead of My true faith.
“But hold your hope firmly to the end and you will experience life and deliverance.”
Matthew 24:13 TPT
Witchcraft’s number one tactic is deception. So be on red alert. Your enemy the devil roams around like a prowling lion seeking whom he may devour. Be as innocent as doves and as cunning as snakes. Keep your hands and heart pure, and keep your eyes on Me. If you do, as you do, you will neither falter nor faint.
How to Respond
- Trust the Lord, and do not give into fear or temptation.
- Pray, Holy Spirit Your love is an all-consuming fire. Thank You for loving me, for protecting me, for guiding me and for helping me to discern in these times filled with deception. Lord, help me to stay close to You. And help me to keep my hands and heart pure, so I can recognize and resist the devil in my midst.
- Declare, “So then, surrender to God. Stand up to the devil and resist him and he will flee in agony.”
— James (Jacob) 4:7 TPT - Decree, The Lord has given me everything I need for life and godliness. I will not fear, and I will not be moved. I will neither falter nor faint, because my God is with me and He is for me. I will trust in Him alone. I will not fear the enemy. I will do my best to remove him from my life and to destroy him with the Lord’s help.
