Today’s Reading:
Proverbs 3
Proverbs 14
Isaiah 60
Psalm 16
Lamentations 3
“Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on him to guide you, and he will lead you in every decision you make. Become intimate with him in whatever you do, and he will lead you wherever you go.”
Proverbs 3:5-6 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Trust My faithfulness, and your heart will always be secure. Obey My guiding, and your feet will never stray from My perfect appointed path. I have prepared a soft place for you to land. It will require simple but significant work to maintain. But it is a soft and even enviable place to land.
“The only clean stable is an empty stable. So if you want the work of an ox and to enjoy an abundant harvest, you’ll have a mess or two to clean up!”
Proverbs 14:4 TPT
I’m putting you in a place that requires ongoing stewardship. I’m putting you in a place that is not always tidy and neat. Some of that you’ll have to live with, and some of it, you’ll know how to get clean. A messy and full life is ahead for you. A soft place to land is ahead for you.
“Then you will see with understanding and be radiant. Your heart will be thrilled and swell with joy. The fullness of the sea will flow to you and the wealth of the nations will be transferred to you! Caravans of camels will cover your land, young camels loaded with goods from Midian and Ephah. All the wealthy merchants from Sheba will come, bearing gold and frankincense and singing the praises of Yahweh!”
Isaiah 60:5-6 TPT
Treasures that have been held up are being released to you. The faithful life recorded in My books has floodgates being opened to it, and the abundance of the sea will come to you. You will be astonished by My favor and goodness, because it will come upon you like a flood. Where for many people it came step by step by step, it will come upon you like a flood. Your many steps in the dry place, in the barren place, in the wilderness and desert place and even in the fraught and jungle-like place have been seen and counted. And the floodgates of life and abundance are being opened into your life. My goodness and love will cover you.
New work will come with it. New priorities will come with it. A lot to maitain and take told of will come with it. But this is the bounty of a fruitful life. It takes work, but rejoice in it. My Spirit will help you to maintain it all, to steward it well and to create even more fruitfulness and abundance from it.
“Your pleasant path leads me to pleasant places. I’m overwhelmed by the privileges that come with following you!”
Psalms 16:6 TPT
I Am the faithful One. Walk with Me, and watch My flood overwhelm you. Great is My faithfulness. I have seen and recorded every step you’ve made. Your proper response is worship, delight and enjoyment of all that I have done.
Watch as My grace and favor and abundance overtake you. This is your now season.
How to Respond
- Worship the Lord, and set your faith on His promises. Do not be moved or double-minded.
- Pray, Lord wow. What a mighty and generous and kind God You are. Thank You that all of my expectations of You are good, because of who You are and all that You’ve done for me. Thank You that You’ve seen and recorded every step I’ve taken. Thank You that You were with me for every one of them. Help me to get into expectation and receiving mode for the days ahead. And help me to trust and obey You every step of the way.
- Declare. “Yahweh’s tender mercies have no end, and the kindness of his endless love is never exhausted. New, fresh mercies greet me with every sunrise. So wonderfully great is your faithfulness! I tell my soul, “Yahweh is my abundant portion. I need nothing more. So, I will put all my hope in him.”
Lamentations 3:22-24 TPT - Decree, My God is faithful, true and the God of abundance. No lack, lie or falsehood is in Him. He set the stars in place and knows every one by name. And He has ordained this time for the abundance of the sea to overwhelm me. He has appointed a soft and full place for me to land. It will require new work and new priorities, but it is very, very good and filled with His blessing, favor and grace. This is my now season.
