Instead, it’s placed where everyone in the house can benefit from its light. So don’t hide your light! Let it shine brightly before others, so that your commendable works will shine as light upon them, and then they will give their praise to your Father in heaven.”

I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Stress and worries are not befitting of someone who is a representative and a child of the King. You are the light of the world. People are looking to you. Don’t make life in Me look so panicked and stressful. Who wants that? That’s not an attraction. I want you to be light and to live in the light of My grace. Moment by moment, I will tell you what to do. I will lay out My priorities for your day. Let yourself be interrupted. Let yourself live and operate in My grace. You’ll be amazed by how much more gets done when you are operating in My grace than when you are operating under the power of your ability to grind it out.
“If God’s grace doesn’t help the builders, they will labor in vain to build a house. If God’s mercy doesn’t protect the city, all the sentries will circle it in vain. It really is senseless to work so hard from early morning till late at night, toiling to make a living for fear of not having enough. God can provide for his devoted lovers even while they sleep!”

I’m calling you to and have already moved you to a very full season. But I want you to enjoy the fullness of it. I want you to look up long enough to smell the flowers budding on the vines. You can be effective and be in full joy. You can be prosperous while laughing and being silly.
Live carefree before God; he is most careful with you.
1 Peter 5:7 MSG
Don’t take life so seriously. Lighten up. I’ll say it again. Lighten up. Live a little. In the places I call you to discipline, be disciplined; and everywhere else, live lighter and looser. My grace is there for the places I’ve called you to discipline too. Choose to live in My grace. Learn to live in My grace. This is a beautiful life I’ve given you. Don’t waste it on toil and stress. Live like a fountain of joy that sprinkles and lightens the hearts of many. Don’t be so serious. It’s time to live a little. It’s time to live a lot, to laugh a lot and to enjoy the life I’ve given you.
How to Respond
- Pray, Holy Spirit help me to lighten up. Help me to release my grip on the need to finish my never ending to-do list and instead seek You for how to order my day. I want You to prioritize my life. I even given You permission to interrupt me. Help me to enjoy the incredible gifts and blessings You have given me in this beautiful life. I want to be about Your business on Your terms. I want to live in full joy, being a source of light, joy and laughter for the people around me.
- Declare, Live your life empowered by God’s free-flowing grace, which is your true strength, found in the anointing of Jesus and your union with him!
— 2 Timothy 2:1 TPT - Decree, The Lord has made me a light to shine. I don’t have to work to shine. I simply need to abide in Him as the Source of my light. I will seek Him to prioritize my day. I will allow Him to bring interruptions and detours as He sees fit, and I will not panic or get stressed out by them. I will live with a ready laugh, and I will seek the Lord to help me learn how to walk in the fullness of His grace.
