Today’s Reading:
Psalm 37
Isaiah 55
Proverbs 3
Keep trusting in the Lord and do what is right in his eyes. Fix your heart on the promises of God, and you will dwell in the land, feasting on his faithfulness. Find your delight and true pleasure in Yahweh, and he will give you what you desire the most. Give God the right to direct your life, and as you trust him along the way, you’ll find he pulled it off perfectly!
Psalms 37:3-5 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Trust the vision. I will make it plain. Trust the vision. I will make it plain. As you move toward the vision, I will pave the road beneath you. Many roads lead to Me, but they must lead to Me through King Jesus. There’s no other way. All paths will ultimately lead to Me, but not all will get the desired result. Not all will bring the hoped for end. That’s the part the enemy doesn’t tell you about. But you write down the vision and make it plain. Trust Me to walk with you each step of the way.
“As the snow and rain that fall from heaven do not return until they have accomplished their purpose, soaking the earth and causing it to sprout with new life, providing seed to sow and bread to eat. So also will be the word that I speak; it does not return to me unfulfilled. My word performs my purpose and fulfills the mission I sent it out to accomplish.” For you will leave your exile with joy and be led home wrapped in peace. The mountains and hills in front of you will burst into singing and the trees of the field will applaud! Cypress trees will flourish where there were only thorns and myrtle trees instead of briars. These will stand as a testimony to Yahweh’s renown, everlasting signs that will not be cut off.
Isaiah 55:10-13 TPT
My grace is available for building in uncertainty. Give Me the right to direct your life, every aspect of your life, and I will make your path plain. You will see it clearly where it has been murky. Don’t walk forward in a fog and with heaviness. That’s not how I called you to walk. Walk forward in full joy, filled with faith that I will lead you every step of the way. That’s how you will succeed. That’s how you will win. This is not time for a downcast countenance and a shame face or one filled with concern, confusion or doubt. This is the time for My joyful planter – warrior – builders to go out with joy and be led forth by My peace. Watch how I cause the way, the path to break forth before you. And where you once saw nothing in return but thistles, thorns and briars, I will cause fruitfulness, beauty and delights untold to spring forth in their place. Your job is joy. Your job is faith. Your job is undeterred obedience. And I will pave the way.
Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on him to guide you, and he will lead you in every decision you make. Become intimate with him in whatever you do, and he will lead you wherever you go.
Proverbs 3:5-6 TPT
I will make all of your wandering paths straight. Great is My faithfulness. It’s time to build what you can’t fully see. I will make the vision clear and the path straight, as you walk in communion and joy with Me. Trust Me. I will guide you the whole way forward. I Am the destination, so you don’t have to worry about when you’ll get there or how you’ll arrive. You can enjoy the journey, because You’ve already gotten Me. You’ve already gotten Me. You can get more of Me always, but You’ve already gotten Me.
How to Respond
- Pray, Holy Spirit help me to walk forward in faith, obedience and joy even though I don’t see the picture clearly yet. I trust You to make the path clear as I move forward. Help me to plant, cultivate and harvest, war and build according to Your instruction. Thank You that I don’t have to worry about where I’m going, because You are the destination, and I already have You. I will enjoy the journey, because the chief goal has already been achieved.
- Declare, Don’t think for a moment that you know it all, for wisdom comes when you adore him with undivided devotion and avoid everything that’s wrong. Then you will find the healing refreshment your body and spirit long for.
— Proverbs 3:7-8 TPT - Decree, The Lord’s faithfulness never fails. He is always good, trustworthy and true. I will trust Him to lead me. I will trust Him to provide everything I need, and I will trust Him to continue to pave my way forward regardless of what I can see. He is moving me from a time of frustration to fruitfulness, from grief to joy and from being plundered to enjoying the plenty. This is a new season.
