Today’s Reading:
Psalm 56
Proverbs 20

Lord, show me your kindness and mercy, for these men oppose and oppress me all day long. Not a day goes by without somebody harassing me. So many in their pride trample me under their feet. But in the day that I’m afraid, I lay all my fears before you and trust in you with all my heart. What harm could a man bring to me? With God on my side, I will not be afraid of what comes. The roaring praises of God fill my heart as I trust his promises.
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭56‬:‭1‬-‭4‬ ‭TPT‬‬

I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
I Am drawing you forward. The battle has been fierce here, and now is the time to advance. The setting of this battle has grown stale. It’s time to advance in power. It’s time to advance by My Spirit and by the word of truth.

Day after day cruel critics distort my words; constantly they plot my collapse. They lurk in the dark, waiting, spying on my movements in secret to take me by surprise, ready to take my life. They don’t deserve to get away with this! Look at their wickedness, their injustice, Lord. In your fierce anger cast them down to defeat.
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭56‬:‭5‬-‭7‬ ‭TPT‬‬

It’s not that this battle is to be left behind. It’s that you are advancing, and it must — it will — advance with you. You have allowed it to stay stationary for too long. You’ve been relegated to the shadows. But it’s time to advance the battle — to force the battle to go forward. Where it has wanted to stay back here in the isolated place, you must advance it to the forward place, to the front of the stage, out of the shadows. This battle has been relegated to the shadows, because it is not the agenda of darkness to disclose it. But I Am calling you forward. I’m calling you to advance this battle into the spotlight, to take it forward to the place I have prepared for you to address it on center stage.

I trust in the Lord. And I praise him! I trust in the Word of God. And I praise him! What harm could man do to me? With God on my side, I will not be afraid of what comes. My heart overflows with praise to God and for his promises. I will always trust in him. So I’m thanking you with all my heart, with gratitude for all you’ve done. I will do everything I’ve promised you, Lord.
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭56‬:‭10‬-‭12‬ ‭TPT‬‬

The battle that has been raging behind the scenes is now coming into the spotlight as you move and advance in obedience and trust. When I hand you a mic, no one can shut it off. Watch as I bring this battle to center stage and give voice and amplification and staggering volume to it that no man and no enemy can silence or control. This battle will sit squarely like an anvil on center stage, and the full truth will come out.

I got the strong sense that the battle the Lord was referencing was the battle for fair elections. It may also be about other battles. Seek the Lord for insight about the specific battle he may want you to bring out of the shadows.

How To Respond

  • Trust and obey the Lord quickly and fully — even if His instruction intimidates you.
  • Pray, Holy Spirit thank You that You are my wraparound shield. Thank You that You are a force that no man can reckon with. Guide me forward. Show me how to advance and how to move this battle out of the shadows into the spotlight, onto center stage. Help me to receive the mic You give me and say the words that You give me to say. Thank You that no man or demonic force can silence what the Lord wants spoken.
  • Declare, Differing weights are an abomination to the Lord, And a false scale is not good.
    ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭20‬:‭23‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬
  • Decree, The Lord is calling the warriors who have been battling in the shadows to come forth into the light. He is making a way for this battle to take place on center stage. He will hand the mic to the side of truth, and no man or demonic force will be able to silence or distract from what the Lord wants said.
