Isaiah 4
Isaiah 33
In that day, the branch of Yahweh will be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth will be the pride and glory of the remnant of Israel. Then the remnant in Zion and Jerusalem, those who are written for life in Jerusalem, will be called holy.
Isaiah 4:2-3 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Holiness is rising. Little lambs are following Me. They are hungry to feed. Hungry little lambs are seeking and feasting on the milk of My Word. And all around them rises this pure steam of holiness. The steam is barely visible but highly protective. It surrounds the place where I have set them. It surrounds the place where they come to the Source, and it surrounds them wherever they go. It is both an indiviual surrounding and a collective surrounding. Enemy intrusions here are met with a very hot burning.
And the Lord has washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion and cleansed the bloodstains of Jerusalem by a Spirit of justice and by a Spirit of burning. Then Yahweh will create over all of Mount Zion and over every gathering a cloud of smoke by day and a glow of flaming fire by night. And all this manifestation of dazzling glory will spread over them like a wedding canopy. It will be a tabernacle as a shade from the scorching heat of the day and a safe shelter to protect them from the storm and rain.
Isaiah 4:4-6 TPT
This is what the steam of holiness is doing for My little lambs and for My mature ones. Even the mature ones who have risen up like lions on the plain now experience this protection from the steam that is rising and burning. It is holiness that is rising. It is My holiness mingled with the holiness they are cultivating and becoming. My holy ones, My pure ones can live at peace in the war as they reside and graze and work and live in this place of purity and holiness. The steam is a nearly invisible ultra-hot protector from outside intruders, from interlopers.
In this high place, your eyes will see the king in his stunning beauty and gaze upon his broad domain. You will look back on the fears of your past and say, “Now, where is the scholar? Where is the adviser? Where is the one who numbers those who are maturing?” You will no longer see the defiant foreigner who speaks a strange, incomprehensible language. Set your gaze on Zion, the city where we gather for Yahweh’s feasts. Your eyes will see Jerusalem as a quiet, pleasant place. It is a secure dwelling, permanent and unmovable, not like a tabernacle that must be taken down, its pegs pulled up, and transported. Glorious Yahweh will be there for us in a land with broad rivers and life-giving streams, where the hostile, majestic ships will not sail. The Lord Yahweh is our Judge, our Lawgiver, and our King; he will save us completely!
Isaiah 33:17-22 TPT
No unworthy ones can tread here in the place where holiness burns and rises up like a vapor with burning heat. This is the way I Am protecting My young, My little ones, and this is how My mature ones of all levels can stay secure. It’s here in My Presence, in the place surrounded and completely covered by the steam of holiness. It does not burn My lovers living in purity. They are made for this. But unworthy ones, outsiders, interlopers who would try to intrude will be burned. Those who will knock at My gate with purity and in earnest truth, I will allow to come in.
How to Respond
- Pursue the Lord, and pursue holiness.
- Pray, Lord thank You that all of the refining You have been working in me has been for my good — to sanctify me, to make me more like You and to fan the flames of holiness within me. Thank You for the new little ones in our midst who hunger and thirst for You and for Your righteousness. Help me to be an example and a teacher/mentor who leads in holiness. Thank You for providing this extremely hot steam of protection that comes from Your holiness and from ours.
- Declare, You who are far away, listen to what I have done, and you who draw near to me, acknowledge my power and strength! Sinners in Zion are afraid, and the godless are gripped with panic, saying, ‘Who can dwell with such an all-consuming fire? Who can live in the presence of the never-ending flame?’ Only those who walk with integrity and speak what is true, who despise even the thought of cheating the poor, and do not accept a bribe, nor plot violence, nor contemplate doing evil — they will live safely on the heights and make their safe place the mountain strongholds, with bread in steady supply and water assured.
Isaiah 33:13-16 TPT - Decree, Our Lord is an all-consuming fire. He is protecting us with a great surrounding shield of holiness. Holiness will protect us from attacks of the enemy. Those who try to intrude into the protected place the Lord has set us will be burned by the rising heat of holiness.
