Today’s Reading:
Psalm 24
Proverbs 28
Hebrews 12
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
No mixture in the offering. My demand is purity, pure and simple. My bar is holiness. I expect it from the Church, not the world. My Church’s aim and instruction is holiness. Nothing else will do.
Who, then, is allowed to ascend the mountain of Yahweh? And who has the privilege of entering into God’s Holy Place? Those who are clean—whose works and ways are pure, whose hearts are true and sealed by the truth, those who never deceive, whose words are sure. They will receive Yahweh’s blessing and righteousness given by the Savior-God. They will stand before God, for they seek the pleasure of God’s face, the God of Jacob. Pause in his presence
Psalms 24:3-6 TPT
Bless My Name and live righteously. It’s a simple instruction. It’s an attainable goal. Embody holiness, not perfection. Perfection is the child of religion. Holiness is the child of your Father in Heaven. Just as I long to see you operate in mercy over religious rule and over the order that necessitates sacrifice, I long for you to be overflowing with My love and fruitfulness. Your life should be a joy and a mystery to all who see you and don’t yet know Me as they should. Your life should be a model that causes them to hunger and thirst for righteousness. Your life is to be a foretaste of Heaven right here on this earth.
So wake up, you living gateways! Lift up your heads, you doorways of eternity! Welcome the King of Glory, for he is about to come through you. You ask, “Who is this King of Glory?” Yahweh, armed and ready for battle, Yahweh, invincible in every way!
Psalms 24:7-8 TPT
You are My Kingdom ambassador. You are to be spreading the light, the salt, the goodness of My salvation, My ways and My promises. Your life should preach. It won’t always have to be in words, though your constant flow of words should be praise, should be adoration, should be testimonies of My goodness and faithfulness, should be decrees that cause darkness to shudder and flee. When you preach the Gospel of the Kingdom to all of Creation in word and deed, it terrifies darkness, because they are reminded of their eternal reward.
Guilty criminals experience paranoia even though no one threatens them. But the innocent lovers of God, because of righteousness, will have the boldness of a young, ferocious lion! A rebellious nation is thrown into chaos, but leaders anointed with wisdom will restore law and order.
Proverbs 28:1-2 TPT
This is a time where holiness is rising up and taking dominion over the land, airwaves and territories that the enemy has stolen. And holiness drives darkness out with a shout, with a command, with a song, with testimonies and powerful prophetic decrees of ownership. This is not a time to pussyfoot around. The righteous must rise up and be as bold as lions. This is the time to retake the land. This is the time beyond the point where the tent pegs have been stretched out. This is the time where the open spacious place has been provided and staking the claim is what’s required.
How to Respond
- Pray, Lord help me to cut away all of the religion, sin, unhealed wounds and bad mindsets that are hindering me from living in holiness as You require. Help me to make my life a song, a praise and a model for all who see me. I want to be one who imparts joy and stirs up hunger and righteous jealousy for the Lord in the hearts of many.
- Declare, As for us, we have all of these great witnesses who encircle us like clouds. So we must let go of every wound that has pierced us and the sin we so easily fall into. Then we will be able to run life’s marathon race with passion and determination, for the path has been already marked out before us.
Hebrews 12:1 TPT - Decree, I let go of all religion, all sin, all wounding and all bad thinking that is hindering me from living in holiness. I am stepping into my rightful place as a Kingdom Ambassador, and I am staking my claim. I am reclaiming territory that has been squatted on by the enemy for too long. I will be as bold as a lion, and I will not relent. I will be a terror to darkness and a joy to the Lord.
