Today’s Reading:
John 14
Isaiah 26
Romans 15
Romans 16

Perfect, absolute peace surrounds those whose imaginations are consumed with you; they confidently trust in you. Yes, trust in the Lord Yahweh forever and ever! For Yah, the Lord God, is your Rock of Ages!
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭26‬:‭3‬-‭4‬ ‭TPT‬‬

I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Tremendous peace is available. I have implanted tremendous peace into your heart. So you can give it. You can emit it. You can release it to the people and to places and to the world around you.

“I leave the gift of peace with you—my peace. Not the kind of fragile peace given by the world, but my perfect peace. Don’t yield to fear or be troubled in your hearts—instead, be courageous!”
‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭27‬ ‭TPT‬‬

The peace I give and impart is deep and abiding. It is steadying, anchoring, calming. My peace causes you to appear as a boulder in the midst of storms — unfazed, unmoved. My peace will cause you to triumph. My peace will enable you to go places others will not go or cannot go. It will empower you and embolden you to say things others will not say. My peace girding you as a strong, fortified structure will enable you to go and do and say things that others do not have the capacity or ability to do.

I’m so happy when I think of you, because everyone knows the testimony of your deep commitment of faith. So I want you to become scholars of all that is good and beautiful, and stay pure and innocent when it comes to evil. And the God of peace will swiftly pound Satan to a pulp under your feet! And the wonderful favor of our Lord Jesus will surround you.
‭‭Romans‬ ‭16‬:‭19‬-‭20‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Peace is a weapon. Peace is an offensive weapon because it covers you and surrounds you in those fraught places I will send you. Yes I will send you into the lions’ den. I will call you to places others won’t go. But you will glory and relish in them, because you are girded with My peace. It upholds you. It fortifies you and makes you as immovable as a great stone. This is the gift of My peace. It’s not a cute concept. It’s not an amorphous political agenda or talking point. My peace is strong, fortifying, extremely weighty, and it is a weapon.

How to Respond

  • Ask the Lord for a fresh revelation of His love for you, and ask Him to help you recognize and draw on the gift of peace He has already given you.
  • Pray, Holy Spirit give me a fresh revelation of the love the Lord has for me. Remind me of all that Jesus has done to rescue me from condemnation and to put me back into right standing with the Father. Thank You for the glorious gift of salvation. Help me to have my eyes so very focused on You, that I carry Your weighty, immovable peace, releasing and imparting it wherever I go.
  • Declare, Now may God, the fountain of hope, fill me to overflowing with uncontainable joy and perfect peace as I trust in him. And may the power of the Holy Spirit continually surround my life with his super-abundance until I radiate with hope!“ — adapted from Romans‬ ‭15‬:‭13‬ ‭TPT‬‬
  • Decree, I ascribe all majesty, honor and glory to my King. The Lord God Almighty is the giver of every good and perfect gift. And Jesus is the One who imparts and implants peace into my life. Because He has left me with His perfect peace, I will not be shaken, and I will not be moved. Instead, because of this deep, abiding peace that I carry, I will be empowered and equipped to go into places, to do and say things that others cannot.
