Philippians 2
Psalm 24
He existed in the form of God, yet he gave no thought to seizing equality with God as his supreme prize. Instead he emptied himself of his outward glory by reducing himself to the form of a lowly servant. He became human! He humbled himself and became vulnerable, choosing to be revealed as a man and was obedient. He was a perfect example, even in his death—a criminal’s death by crucifixion! Because of that obedience, God exalted him and multiplied his greatness! He has now been given the greatest of all names!
Philippians 2:6-9 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
The Name that towers above all names, above every other name, Jesus. He towers above Creation. He is the Prince of Peace, the Lamb of God who was sent to take away the sins of the world. Who else is worthy? Who else is like Him? Who else can save? No one. By no other name can you be saved. He is the One who rescues from the pit. He is the One who lifts you out of the miry clay. He sets your feet upon the rock, the firm foundation of Himself.
The authority of the name of Jesus causes every knee to bow in reverence! Everything and everyone will one day submit to this name—in the heavenly realm, in the earthly realm, and in the demonic realm. And every tongue will proclaim in every language: “Jesus Christ is Lord Yahweh,” bringing glory and honor to God, his Father!
Philippians 2:10-11 TPT
It’s all Jesus and only Jesus. There is no other name by which men can be saved. He is worthy of all your adoration and all your praise. He is the One to be lifted up above all others in your eyes, your heart and your home. He transcends all understanding, yet he is highly knowable and approachable. He is the King of Glory. He is the One worthy of all of your glory, honor and praise. Make His Name famous in your home, in your school, in your work, in your social media. Make His Name famous in all the Earth. Be one who delights in and loves to tell stories of what Jesus has done in your life.
God will continually revitalize you, implanting within you the passion to do what pleases him. Live a cheerful life, without complaining or division among yourselves. For then you will be seen as innocent, faultless, and pure children of God, even though you live in the midst of a brutal and perverse culture. For you will appear among them as shining lights in the universe, holding out the words of eternal life. I haven’t labored among you for nothing, for your lives are the fruit of my ministry and will be my glorious boast at the unveiling of Christ!
Philippians 2:13-16 TPT
Be one who is a living, breathing testimony that testifies of the wonder working power and extraordinary, unmatched love of King Jesus. He is worthy. Only He is worthy. Delight yourself in Him, and He will give you your heart’s desires. Pursue Him, and your life will prosper. He will give you life more abundantly, life that overflows and shines and sprinkles blessing and love and joy and the anointing of the Lamb wherever you go. Worship the King. Live in holy adoration of King Jesus. Bless His Holy Name.
How to Respond
- Stir up love and adoration for King Jesus.
- Pray, Jesus thank You for coming to rescue me from my sin. Thank You for loving me so much that You left Your throne, You left the place of perfection to walk with us. You endured more pain, trauma and suffering than I can imagine. Yet You did not protest or defend Yourself or claim Your rights, because You were going in my place. I desire to give You the proper place of honor, love, attention and praise in my life. No one compares to You. No one else and nothing else is worthy of that place of highest honor.
- Declare, So wake up, you living gateways! Lift up your heads, you doorways of eternity! Welcome the King of Glory, for he is about to come through you.
Psalms 24:7 TPT - Decree, I will exalt the Name of King Jesus above every other name in my life, my home and my heart. I will dwell on the goodness, the mercy, the sacrifice and the love of Jesus that far outstrips anything else I have ever known. I will not give His place to another. I will live in an attitude of worship, reverence, adoration and joy — because My King has come, He has overcome, and He lives within me.
