“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways And My thoughts than your thoughts.”

I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
The ways of the Spirit are not the ways of man’s mind. I work differently. I think differently. I operate differently. I Am not bound by logic. I Am not bound by false principles based on a misunderstanding of the rules that govern the world, space and time. I Am bound by My character and My promises. That’s it. Everything else is fair game. I can play and move and operate in any way, form or fashion that I choose, so long as it is within the bounds of My character and My promises.
“The eyes of your spirit allow revelation-light to enter into your being. If your heart is unclouded, the light floods in! But if your eyes are focused on money, the light cannot penetrate and darkness takes its place. How profound will be the darkness within you if the light of truth cannot enter! “How could you worship two gods at the same time? You will have to hate one and love the other, or be devoted to one and despise the other. You can’t worship the true God while enslaved to the god of money!”

Where you may be prone to violate your character or promises to remain inside the bounds of your understanding, I say, that is not My way, and that is not the way I have for you. The way I Am teaching you, the way you must learn is that character and promises should be fixed, must be fixed. Those are the immovable pillars. Everything else must give way to those. Everything else may be malleable, flexible and change-worthy as they look int the face of those. Be governed only by what is fixed — My Word, My promises, My character. Model yourself wholly and fully and only after these. Everything else will be added unto you. This is My Kingdom. What governs Me are the pillars I have chosen that remain immovable. These are the fixed points around which all else must turn. Live like that, and watch as everything else is added unto you. This is pursuit of My Kingdom. These are the foundational pillars around which all else must submit and from which all else must be built.
He who watches the wind will not sow and he who looks at the clouds will not reap.

Finances are not the starting place. So don’t seek them first. My character, My promises and My Word — these are the fixed points upon which I have established My Kingdom. These lead to the infinite and the eternal. It’s from these that all these other things, which are lesser things but still important, still worthy things — these are the points from which they will be added unto you. Pursue the wind, and you will never catch it. Pursue the source of the wind, and you shall have it all. I Am the Source of the wind. Pursue me, and you shall have it all.
How to Respond
- Pray, Lord, help me to change my mindset. Help me to be one whose character and promises are absolutely immovable and non-negotiable. Anything in my life that is competing with or challenging those things must bow, bend or break. Help me to passionately and firstly pursue those fixed and immovable pillars of You — Your character, Your promises, Your Word. As I seek You and the fixed, absolutely immovable aspects of You, I will find You. And all of these other things other things that I desire, You will add them to me.
- Declare, So above all, constantly seek God’s kingdom and his righteousness, then all these less important things will be given to you abundantly.
Matthew 6:33 TPT - Decree, I am allowing the Lord to change my mind. I will not be governed by man’s logic. Instead I will be governed by ONLY those things that govern the Lord — His character, His Word and His promises. As I do that, I can live in the realm of all things being possible, because with God all things are possible. And as I pursue Him first, He will add all of my needs and desires to it.
