Today’s Reading:
Romans 4
Psalm 37
Proverbs 3

Against all odds, when it looked hopeless, Abraham believed the promise and expected God to fulfill it. He took God at his word, and as a result he became the father of many nations. God’s declaration over him came to pass: “Your descendants will be so many that they will be impossible to count!”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭4‬:‭18‬ ‭TPT‬‬

I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Trust in Me. This is a walk on water season. This is a lean not on your own understanding season. Be guided by the light of My Presence and the lighting of My pleasure on your path and the decisions set before you. I will never fail you. I will never lead you in the wrong direction, down a track that is not meant to prosper you, grow you, benefit and teach you.

In spite of being nearly one hundred years old when the promise of having a son was made, his faith was so strong that it could not be undermined by the fact that he and Sarah were incapable of conceiving a child. He never stopped believing God’s promise, for he was made strong in his faith to father a child. And because he was mighty in faith and convinced that God had all the power needed to fulfill his promises, Abraham glorified God!
‭‭Romans‬ ‭4‬:‭19‬-‭21‬ ‭TPT‬‬

I Am birthing something new through you. It’s a brand of faith not often seen. Its’a a rare fragrance of purified, innocent, wholly reliant trust in Me. It’s a faith not often seen or smelled or tasted or touched. But your faith will be a tangible faith. It will be one that becomes so real that people can reach out and touch it. The byproducts of your faith, the fruit of our faith will be very real, very tangible and very hearty. I Am seeking and looking for that rarified faith — for faith that has squeezed all of the juice out of the grapes that grew in the desert, and now you will make wine with them. You will produce something rich, fine and unexpected from that miraculous wild fruit that grew for you in the desert. I provided for you in the desert. Will I walk you out empty handed? I Am walking you into a land of great fruitfulness, where the fruit already exists. Where the cultivation happened before you got here. My grace is hovering over you, is poured out on you. The squeezing that has taken place in your life and in your heart and in your mind has produced the new wine of a greater faith that can withstand the headwinds of this new place, that can hold up and bear up under the weight of trials and success alike.

Keep trusting in the Lord and do what is right in his eyes. Fix your heart on the promises of God, and you will dwell in the land, feasting on his faithfulness. Find your delight and true pleasure in Yahweh, and he will give you what you desire the most. Give God the right to direct your life, and as you trust him along the way, you’ll find he pulled it off perfectly!
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭37‬:‭3‬-‭5‬ ‭TPT‬‬

I have produced in you a new faith. It is higher quality, greater purity and more true than what you had before. This is the rarified faith of having been squeezed and tested and wrung out in the desert. Keep the muscle mass of this newfound faith, this wilderness developed faith. It requires daily use.

How to Respond

  • Keep trusting in the Lord. Don’t go back to old mindsets and familiar patterns.
  • Pray, Lord help me to keep trusting, to keep following the light of Your Presence and the lighting of Your pleasure on my path and decisions. I don’t want to rely on my own understanding. Your ways are higher and better. You are the only One who can see all of the implications of every decision I make. You are the only One who can see the entirety of the future in front of me. Help me to wholly rely on You and to daily use this upgraded faith, so I can remain strong in You.
  • Declare, Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on him to guide you, and he will lead you in every decision you make. Become intimate with him in whatever you do, and he will lead you wherever you go. Don’t think for a moment that you know it all, for wisdom comes when you adore him with undivided devotion and avoid everything that’s wrong. Then you will find the healing refreshment your body and spirit long for.
    ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭3‬:‭5‬-‭8‬ ‭TPT‬‬
  • Decree, I will walk by faith and not by sight. The Lord’s plans and purposes for me are for good — to give me a future and a hope. I will not go back to old ways of thinking, and old familiar mindsets. I will lean heavily into this newly developed muscle of faith that was forged in the desert. I will not let it grow weak by lack of use.
