Today’s Reading:
Luke 17
John 14
Romans 1

Jesus responded, “If you have even the smallest measure of faith, it would be powerful enough to say to this large tree, ‘My faith will pull you up by the roots and throw you into the sea,’ and it will respond to your faith and obey you.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭17‬:‭6‬ ‭TPT‬‬

I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
What happens when that mustard seed bursts forth and starts to grow? What happens when faith is spread like a contagion, and flowers and bears the fruit of pungent belief? What happens when faith outpaces, outgrows and outstrips the weeds of unbelief, doubt and fear that were competing for the same space? This is when you have takeoff. This is when you enter the realm and the cultivated place where anything is possible.

All who are obsessed with being secure in life will lose it all—including their lives. But those who let go of their lives and surrender them to me will discover true life.
‭‭Luke‬ ‭17‬:‭33‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Your faith should have a distinctive smell, taste and texture. People should say, this one is sharp with the definite taste and aroma of one who believes the Lord God of Heaven Above. This one is not like the common ones. This one is not of the same flavor, does not impart the same scent as most others. No, this one lives in the Presence of the King. This one has the sharp, distinctive scent of difference, of faith, of unshakeable, unwavering belief. Their mind is stayed on the Lord their God, and they will not be moved. This one is like a pillar fashioned in the courtyard of the King — stable, strong, steady and one who can uphold great weight. It’s because they have died to unbelief and have flourished and become fruitful; and their faith has become like an infectious, invasive species, challenging and working to conquer the fears and doubt of all who come near them.

Believe that I live as one with my Father and that my Father lives as one with me—or at least, believe because of the mighty miracles I have done. “I tell you this timeless truth: The person who follows me in faith, believing in me, will do the same mighty miracles that I do—even greater miracles than these because I go to be with my Father! For I will do whatever you ask me to do when you ask me in my name. And that is how the Son will show what the Father is really like and bring glory to him. Ask me anything in my name, and I will do it for you!”
‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭11‬-‭14‬ ‭TPT‬‬

What a glorious thing it is to have died to doubt, to have completely surrendered unbelief and to now sprout up, blossom, flourish, grow and overtake the earth with the strong, pungent, distinctive odor of one who lives in the Presence of the King — of one who flavors the affairs of this world and is not overcome by them. This is My New World Order. My mustard seeds of faith, My ones who have died to unbelief and risen in faith will flourish and prosper, and they will overtake the world.

How to Respond

  • Pray, Lord, help me to stomp out and kill any lingering and nagging unbelief and doubt. Help me to live distinctly and powerfully by faith in such a way that it challenges and changes the world around me.
  • Declare, I refuse to be ashamed of the wonderful message of God’s liberating power unleashed in us through Christ! For I am thrilled to preach that everyone who believes is saved—the Jew first, and then people everywhere! This gospel unveils a continual revelation of God’s righteousness—a perfect righteousness given to us when we believe. And it moves us from receiving life through faith, to the power of living by faith. This is what the Scripture means when it says: “We are right with God through life-giving faith!”
    ‭‭Romans‬ ‭1‬:‭16‬-‭17‬ ‭TPT‬‬
  • Decree, I am one who is determined to kill off unbelief and allow doubt to die. I will be known as one who lives in the Presence of my King, as one whose scent and flavor is pungent with and distinctive as belief. The Lord is causing the ones who truly believe Him to rise up, to become an overcoming force and to become an invasive species that overtakes the earth.
