Shine and make your joyful boast in him, you lovers of God. Let’s be happy and keep rejoicing no matter what. Seek more of his strength! Seek more of him! Let’s always be seeking the light of his face.
Psalms 105:3-4 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Maximize the blessing of Christ. Immerse yourself in the knowledge of Him. Pursue His face with your whole heart, and all yours ways will be sure. Delve into the wonderful mystery of Christ your Savior and King. What you learn and uncover, what is revealed to you will reorder your life and the way you see the world. It will redirect your path into areas of which you never conceived or thought you would go. This is the delight of the Lord. This is the wonderful journey with Christ your King. Knowing Him is everything, and there is no end to the knowledge of Him. No experts in Jesus exist. All are children whose understanding is limited and whose perception cannot fathom the vastness and endlessness of who He is.
For God, who said, “Let brilliant light shine out of darkness,” is the one who has cascaded his light into us—the brilliant dawning light of the glorious knowledge of God as we gaze into the face of Jesus Christ.
2 Corinthians 4:6 TPT
He is both here with you and far beyond you. He is at the right hand of the Father, and you are seated with Him in Heavenly places. If you go down to Sheol, He is there with you. His strength is beyond measure. His understanding unlimited. His glory radiates from the purest human vessel. We are One. To know the Son is to know the Father who sent Him. To walk with Jesus in the ways of Jesus and delight in the things that bring pleasure to Jesus is to walk with and delight the Father, your Father in Heaven through Christ Jesus.
We can all draw close to him with the veil removed from our faces. And with no veil we all become like mirrors who brightly reflect the glory of the Lord Jesus. We are being transfigured into his very image as we move from one brighter level of glory to another. And this glorious transfiguration comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
2 Corinthians 3:18 TPT
Who is this King of Glory? He’s the Lord strong and Mighty. Allow Him to come through to you. Allow Him to be seen in you. Dine with Him, and sup with Him. Feast on the knowledge of Him through His Word, and He will reveal Himself to you. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path. He will make your path straight. He will turn on and be the flood light of revelation for your days ahead. Seek the knowledge and the face of King Jesus. He is the way.
How to Respond
- Immerse yourself afresh in the pursuit of knowing Jesus.
- Pray, King Jesus, make yourself known to me. Guide me into a deeper knowledge of you, a greater communion and connection with You. I want to be one who hungers and thirsts for more and more of You. Help me to not get caught up in routine or religion. Help me not to take you for granted. I want to be consumed with the awe and mystery of You, and I want to see Your face.
- Declare, Ask, and the gift is yours. Seek, and you’ll discover. Knock, and the door will be opened for you. For every persistent one will get what he asks for. Every persistent seeker will discover what he longs for. And everyone who knocks persistently will one day find an open door.
Matthew 7:7-8 TPT - Decree, I am a servant of the Living God. Jesus is my High Priest and Eternal King of Glory. I live in pursuit and awe of Him. I desire to know Him, to emulate Him and to make my life a delight to Him. My life is one of adventure, mystery and beautiful acts of service marked by my love for King Jesus. In all my ways, I acknowledge Him, and He is directing my path.
