Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 61
Isaiah 62
Romans 8
I am sent to announce a new season of Yahweh’s grace and a time of God’s recompense on his enemies, to comfort all who are in sorrow, to strengthen those crushed by despair who mourn in Zion— to give them a beautiful bouquet in the place of ashes, the oil of bliss instead of tears, and the mantle of joyous praise instead of the spirit of heaviness. Because of this, they will be known as Mighty Oaks of Righteousness, planted by Yahweh as a living display of his glory. They will restore ruins from long ago and rebuild what was long devastated. They will renew ruined cities and desolations of past generations.
Isaiah 61:2-4 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Trust Me in the tender places. Trust Me in the untrodden places. Trust Me to draw out of you what is required for this hour. I Am imparting new gifts, and I Am drawing out hidden ones that I have placed in you from before time began. Different battles are ahead. Different looking war is ahead. But I have equipped you for it, and I Am even adding to that equipping now.
Because you received a double dose of shame and dishonor, you will inherit a double portion of endless joy and everlasting bliss! “For I, Yahweh, love fairness and justice, and I hate stealing and sin. I will rightly repay them because of my faithfulness and enter into an everlasting covenant with them. Their seed will be famous among the nations, and their descendants the center of attention of the people. All who see them will recognize that they are the seed that Yahweh has blessed with favor!
Isaiah 61:7-9 TPT
The tender places of your own heart that have felt unsafe to acknowledge or share are rising to the surface in this hour, and I will shine on them. I will bless them. I will strengthen them. And they will go from being places of extreme sensitivity and tenderness to being the places of your greatest strength. What the enemy meant to injure you, to harm you, to weaken you and destroy you — I will turn in it into the place of your greatest source of strength in which to fight. I will turn the place of your injury into the place upon which you tread and the territory which you occupy with warrior ferocity that becomes greater and extends farther and farther as you walk out onto it.
Pass through, pass through the gates, and go from old to new. Prepare a new path for the people. Build! Build up a highway for them to come to me! Remove every hindrance and unfurl a banner for the nations! See? Yahweh has proclaimed to the ends of the earth: Tell my daughter, Zion, “Look, here comes your Deliverer! See? He’s bringing his reward, and his recompense goes before him.” They will be called His Holy People, The Redeemed of Yahweh. And you will be known as Those Whom God Loves, A City Not Abandoned.
Isaiah 62:10-12 TPT
Trust Me as I draw those tender, weak and hidden places of injury to the surface. My light is healing, My blessing is kissing and My grace is infusing those places with strength, so you can war as a victorious one over those places where the enemy tried to take you out. Where the enemy tried to cause a divide in your trust and love of Me, I say “No! He will not prevail!” My love, My provision, My healing and My strength-giving grace and joy will overcome the enemy in every place that he has trampled and burned and tried to destroy in your life. The victory is Mine. Satan is a defeated foe. So allow those tender places in your heart to come to light, to be exposed. Make yourself vulnerable once again, so I can cause you to triumph, so you can become an occupying force in the place of your former defeat. I get the final word, and I get the last laugh. And My laugh is one of eternal victory.
How to Respond
- Bless the Lord.
- Pray, Holy Spirit help me. I need You to be with me and to be my shield as I open up the tender places in my heart and life for You to shine on, bless, strengthen and bring Your victory. Help me to not live in self-protection where the enemy has trampled and tried to take me out. Instead, I want to be brave and give it to You to make these places beautiful, strong and triumphant.
- Declare, Yet even in the midst of all these things, we triumph over them all, for God has made us to be more than conquerors, and his demonstrated love is our glorious victory over everything!
Romans 8:37 TPT - Decree, The places where the enemy tried to take me out are becoming the places of my greatest strength and victory. The Lord has gone before me, behind me and He is my wraparound shield. He is my tower of refuge and strength, a very present help in times and places of trouble. He is my song, and His joy is my strength. I will not be afraid or shrink back. I am opening my heart and the tender places of my life to the Lord, so he can bring healing, blessing, strengthening and overwhelming victory. I will not only be victorious, but I will occupy the place where the enemy tried to separate me from my trust in the Lord and the place where he tried to take me out. The Lord gets the final say and the last laugh.
