Here’s what Yahweh says to you: “I know all about the marvelous destiny I have in store for you, a future planned out in detail. My intention is not to harm you but to surround you with peace and prosperity and to give you a beautiful future, glistening with hope.
Jeremiah 29:11 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Trust. Trust Me. Trust that My plans are for good and to prosper you, to give you a future and a hope. I Am your hope. I Am the hope of your salvation, and I Am the One who makes your dreams come true. This is that. I’m making your dreams come true.
O God in Zion, to you even silence is praise! You who answers prayer, all of humanity comes before you with their requests. Though we are overcome by our many sins, your sacrifice covers over them all. How blessed is the one you choose to live near you in your courts. The beauty of your house, your holy temple, satisfies us. You answer our prayers with amazing wonders and with awe-inspiring displays of power. You are the righteous God who helps us like a father. Everyone everywhere looks to you, for you are the confidence of all the earth, even to the farthest islands of the sea.
Psalms 65:1-5 TPT
When you look back at these days you will say, I didn’t even realize at the time the extent to which I was walking in the new days of God’s grace. I didn’t realize that God’s grace had moved me from one journey to a new journey, that He was closing out the former journey and what had grown familiar, and He was setting me in a completely new place, on a new journey marked by pursuit, love and a wide-open horizon future.
Everyone will say, “Come and see the incredible things God has done; it will take your breath away! He multiplies miracles for his people!
Psalms 66:5 TPT
Trust Me. You can’t perceive the difference yet in where I have placed your feet. Soon you will recognize clearly that your journey has changed. While you were going one way and enjoying that way, and My grace was there with you, now I Am moving you into a more spacious place that is also a freer and a more private place. The old journey has ended, and it’s drawing to a close. The new journey will look and feel similar, but it will have a different method and direction of travel. It will be one of adventure, delight, evangelism and wide open vistas — with freedom as far as the eye can see. This is My gift, My promise. Trust Me. Get your hopes up. The journey is changing.
How to Respond
- Trust the Lord. Hold loosely to your own agenda and direction of travel.
- Pray, Lord help me to release my grip on life as I know it. Help me to welcome the change in pace, in direction, even the changes in purpose and people. Help me to understand the place where You are setting my feet, so I can operate accordingly in this new place.
- Declare, Praise God, all you peoples. Praise him everywhere and let everyone know you love him! There’s no doubt about it: God holds our lives safely in his hands. He’s the one who keeps us faithfully following him. O Lord, we have passed through your fire; like precious metal made pure, you’ve proved us, perfected us, and made us holy.
Psalms 66:8-10 TPT - Decree, I trust the Lord, and I will continue to trust the Lord. He is my hope and my salvation. His plans for me are perfect, and His promises are true. I will not cling to my current or former ways of operating and thinking. I will release them to the Lord, and He will help me to recognize the new place where He is setting my feet for the new journey ahead.
