For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth to show Himself strong in behalf of those whose hearts are blameless toward Him.

I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
I Am searching the Earth, and I Am searching hearts in this time to see if there are men and women after My own heart who follow and love My ways. This is a time of searching. This is a time of evaluating. This is a time of inspection. What shall I find? These are days where I long to bring My children out from the narrow place into a broad place, a wide open spacious place, a land of rivers and valleys with fruitfulness all year round. The narrow place is the testing. Will you choose me in the squeezing? Will you choose Me in the moments and the times and the places that cause you to feel as if the walls are closing in, and there is no means of escape? I Am always Your means of escape. I Am always your trustworthy companion, refuge, shield and guide.
I hear the Lord saying, “I will stay close to you, instructing and guiding you along the pathway for your life. I will advise you along the way and lead you forth with my eyes as your guide. So don’t make it difficult; don’t be stubborn when I take you where you’ve not been before. Don’t make me tug you and pull you along. Just come with me!”“
Psalms 32:8-9 TPT
Do not let this time of the narrow passageway cause you to turn back and run toward Egypt, toward the place of your captivity and be thrust back into the wilderness of wandering and refining. The refining was to get you to this time and place where your mind is steeled against the attacks, the lies and the onslaught of the enemy. Your heart should be closer to Mine than it has ever been. You should feel My fingers in your right hand as you walk this squeezing, intimidating passageway into Promise.
Walk with Me. Stay with Me. Stick with Me, and heed My voice. Let My voice be the loudest one in your heart. Other voices may come to intimidate, to cause fear, to bring harassment and to speak lack. But My voice is the one that is steady and sure, saying this is the way, walk with Me. Keep your head up and your heart pure. Unbelief will cause you to dash your foot upon the rocks. Unbelief will shipwreck you in this time where I Am calling you to walk a very narrow way. If you stick with Me, you will say, “the Lord protected Me all along the way. It seemed scary. It seemed treacherous, but we made it through without incident. Now I can see that those narrow rocky walls were for My protection, though they seemed to be against Me.”
His love broke open the way, and he brought me into a beautiful, broad place. He rescued me—because his delight is in me! He rewarded me for doing what’s right and staying pure.

Be victorious in the Straits of Tammuz. One foot in front of the other will get you right into that wide open spacious place I have prepared. This is a time of testing, yes. Will you be faithful in the squeezing, in the uncertainty? When you can’t see the end of this passageway? Keep one foot in front of the other, and keep your hand in Mine. I will get you there. Just don’t turn to the right or the left. In this time, those turns are dangerous dead ends that bring sure failure. The only way through is forward. Hand-in-hand with me, heart-to-heart with Me. Face-to-face with Me.
How to Respond
- Trust the Lord to guide you through this time of squeezing and uncertainty.
- Pray, Holy Spirit thank You for being my light, my shield and my guide. Thank You for leading me unerringly where I need to go. Help me to not turn to the right or the left in this time but to keep myself close to You and to walk ahead without being distracted.
- Declare, I will follow his commands and I’ll not sin by ceasing to follow him, no matter what. For I’ve kept my eyes focused on his righteous words, and I’ve obeyed everything that he’s told me to do. I’ve been blameless before him and followed all his ways, keeping my heart pure. And so Yahweh has rewarded me according to my righteousness, because I kept my heart clean before his eyes. Good people will taste your goodness. And to those who are loyal to you, you love to prove that you are loyal and true. —Psalms 18:21-25 TPT
- Decree, The Lord has provided a way for me to get to the land of Promise. He is guiding me and protecting me through this time of squeezing, through this narrow passageway that seems intimidating and treacherous. I will be faithful to keep my hand in His and to make His the only voice that guides me in this time. I will come out on the other side unscathed and victorious. I will emerge into the place of my inheritance.
