Today’s Reading:
Psalm 37

Keep trusting in the Lord and do what is right in his eyes. Fix your heart on the promises of God, and you will dwell in the land, feasting on his faithfulness. Find your delight and true pleasure in Yahweh, and he will give you what you desire the most. Give God the right to direct your life, and as you trust him along the way, you’ll find he pulled it off perfectly!
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭37‬:‭3‬-‭5‬ ‭TPT‬‬

I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
This is the time to trust My guiding, accept and follow through with My instruction — even when the picture does not make sense, even when what your eyes see makes no sense. You see in part and you know in part, but I Am the Master Craftsman. I Am the Master Technician, and I Am the one who directs and shapes the pieces that form your life. I Am the one who will bring the picture together. Your job is to move the pieces I have given you into position, so the picture can finally emerge, so the picture can rightfully emerge.

When Yahweh delights in how you live your life, he establishes your every step.
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭37‬:‭23‬ ‭TPT‬‬

I have gone before you, and I have pre-positioned the lion’s share of the pieces. Most of the picture has already been created, has already been put together. Your pieces remain and a few others besides those. Don’t hesitate when I tell you to put your pieces on the table, and then I instruct you to connect your pieces to the ones I have already assembled. It may seem foreign. It may seem too good to be true. It may seem unlikely. It may seem completely other and disconnected from you. Don’t buck what I Am doing, just because the full picture has not yet emerged. Don’t leave your pieces strewn about or hidden in your pocket, or collected in your hands. I’m instructing you now to add your pieces to the unfinished picture that is emerging. I’m instructing you to make your pieces part of the bigger picture, not separate from it. Apart from this bigger picture, your pieces amount to very little. But connected into this massive, expansive, nearly finished masterpiece — your pieces will thrive, will have legs, will have real meaning.

So don’t be impatient for Yahweh to act; keep moving forward steadily in his ways, and he will exalt you to possess the land. You’ll watch with your own eyes and see the wicked lose everything.
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭37‬:‭34‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Just as apart from Me you can do nothing, just as you thrive only at the extent to which you are connected to Me, the Vine — so too are the works of your hands. The pieces of your life only as fruitful as they are one with and connected with the much larger, tremendously-sized masterpiece that I have been carefully and particularly piecing together.

Your pieces will impact, will inform and will be a part of the establishment of the masterpiece of the mountain to which I have connected you. Don’t try to go it alone. Don’t withhold your pieces from the larger picture. They are designed to fit in, to help complete the larger picture and to bring a much needed aspect to this grand, sweeping, tremendous mountain of influence. Your part is integral. It is needed. Don’t withhold it. Don’t discount it. Neither should you overestimate it. I have placed these beautiful and unique pieces in your hands. Contribute them. Don’t keep them for yourself.

How to Respond

  • Heed the voice of the Lord. Quickly and fully obey His instruction regardless of whether it makes sense.
  • Pray, Holy Spirit help me to hear Your voice of instruction. Thank You for leading me, for making a way for me, and for providing me with pieces of an important work that You are bringing together. Help me willingly and fully contribute all that You have placed in my hands, so Your masterpiece can fully emerge.
  • Declare, Give God the right to direct your life, and as you trust him along the way, you’ll find he pulled it off perfectly! — Psalms‬ ‭37‬:‭5‬ ‭TPT‬‬
  • Decree, The Lord has been working behind the scenes crafting a masterpiece of epic proportions. This masterpiece is made of many pieces, and He has given me pieces to contribute to ensure the picture is completed. I will not delay in connecting my pieces into this larger picture — even if I don’t understand how or what will emerge from it.
