Today’s Reading:
Ephesians 3
Romans 8

“So I kneel humbly in awe before the Father of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah, the perfect Father of every father and child in heaven and on the earth. And I pray that he would unveil within you the unlimited riches of his glory and favor until supernatural strength floods your innermost being with his divine might and explosive power.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭3‬:‭14‬-‭16‬ ‭TPT‬‬

I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Stop putting off your blessings into another distant day where fulfillment is always out of your grasp. Grace is here now. Favor meets that grace as you grab the grace and put it to work. My grace is sufficient, and My favor is ready to collide with it, as you move, as you apprehend, as you take hold and take action.

“Then, by constantly using your faith, the life of Christ will be released deep inside you, and the resting place of his love will become the very source and root of your life.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭3‬:‭17‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Faith without works is dead. So too, favor does not meet grace until that grace is grasped and put into forward motion. This is the time of the faith-rest life, and this is the time where your faith has work and momentum, action behind it. Hoping is not enough. Hope deferred makes the heart sick.

If hope does not translate to faith plus action, it will become hope deferred.

Faith plus action, nets a new result. Faith plus action gets what it seeks, and sees a good return. You cannot buy the abundant life that I died for you to have. You must apprehend it by faith with action. This is the time of living your faith. That often looks unorthodox. That usually looks like taking a risk. This is where the principle of “you have not because you ask not” comes into play. If no action is taken to obtain your heart’s desire, it will remain out of reach.

“The mature children of God are those who are moved by the impulses of the Holy Spirit. And you did not receive the “spirit of religious duty,” leading you back into the fear of never being good enough. But you have received the “Spirit of full acceptance,” enfolding you into the family of God. And you will never feel orphaned, for as he rises up within us, our spirits join him in saying the words of tender affection, “Beloved Father!” For the Holy Spirit makes God’s fatherhood real to us as he whispers into our innermost being, “You are God’s beloved child!”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭14‬-‭16‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Is the answer move without Me? No. The answer is to be moved by the impulses of My Spirit and to be inclined toward action rather than inaction, inclined to risk rather than self-protection and fear of man. It’s time to start asking, what’s the best that could happen? Put your faith to work. It’s time to see your dreams come true.

How to Respond

  • Pray, Lord help me to shift my mindset and move to a place where my faith is active. Help me to move in the grace You have given me in such a way that my actions are met with great favor. I don’t want to be held back, and I don’t want to live in the land where my dreams are always for tomorrow. Help me to grab ahold of Your great grace by putting my faith to action. And as I do, I will expect to be met by Your favor, because You are that good.
  • Declare, “Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you.”
    ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭3‬:‭20‬ ‭TPT‬‬
  • Decree, The Lord is great and greatly to be praised. He is the King of kings and the Lord of all. He is the all-sufficient God, and He is the God who meets all my needs each day. He delights to delight me. I will put my faith to work. I will not sit back and hope that things happen. I will proceed with the Spirit by grace in faith, and I will be met with favor.
